We don't write many reviews here but after using this heater for a month we just had to share our experience.One of the only negative comments we will make is on the shipping contents. They use a LOT of high density Styrofoam, We live in western Washington state and recycling this material is not an easy option locally. It's understandable that they want to protect the heater while in transit, but certainly they can use a more environmentally friendly packing material.Once unpacked, the four plastic legs have to be screwed on to the base of the stove. This takes about 15 minutes and a little patience. These legs may be plastic but they are well made and durable.After that, all you do is plug it in and off it goes. The remote is easy to operate and very straight forward. The visual effect is quite realistic and is enhanced by the beveled glass and the glass sides. These two factors really enhance the viewing experience. The heater fan is very quiet and operates on just one speed.We bought this specifically to use in our solarium, which gets some heat from our HVAC system but not nearly enough to make the room usable when the outdoor temperature drops below 55F. This heater has changed all of that.The solarium is about 450 sq. feet with insulated glass walls on three sides of the irregular shaped room. The floor is concrete with high quality vinyl flooring and the celling is insulated to R36. Once the heater is on and running for a couple of hours the room is noticeably warmer. If the sun should be out we have been able to get the space above 70F.Another unexpected bonus is that this unit is portable enough that we can move it around the house as needed. We have a wood fueled fireplace insert that we use a lot during the late fall and winter. But on those nights when we don't feel like making a real fire we have this unit as an option.Overall, we can easily say that this stove/heater has exceeded our expectations. The cinnamon color is a perfect match for our solarium furniture. The quality of the unit in appearance and performance is top notch.The one minor item of disagreement between us is the use of the crackle box. I find it to be kind of cheesy sounding while my wife likes the added ambiance. We both agree that we wish that it was possible to turn the volume down more.

The media could not be loaded. I have been wanting to purchase a Duraflame to add a “cozy” feel to my tv room for awhile now. So glad I did. The cinnamon is a beautiful color, love the warmth of the extra heat and the beauty of the flame. Great purchase, well worth the price!

I got this to warm the sunroom area where my wife set-up her home office during the pandemic. She was cold, and this keeps her warm. So, in that sense, it fulfills its primary purpose. I would never imagine that I would be raving about artificial flames. After all, most of them look fake and awful. But, after looking at various online videos of this heater, I was convinced that these flames would look good. In fact, THEY DO LOOK LIKE REAL FLAMES and, if you add the crackler option, it also SOUNDS like real flames. The stove is also attractive. It has a nice painted finish that is available in various colors. The beveled glass is another great touch. We have had it almost three months and we are very, very pleased with this product. We would absolutely buy it again! Highly recommended!

We love our purchase! The stove is a charming addition to our room and the red color adds a pop of color needed against the fireplace hearth. The heat output is quick and consistent. We've received many compliments.

I am using this unit on a porch that has EZBreeze windows. It warms the porch enough to sit on when it is in the high 40s outside. We are really enjoying the look of the fireplace. I did purchase the Crackle unit. It is hokey; but does make a fire cracklish sound. I would rebuy this!

Great temperature settings. Beautiful and functional. The red is a wonderful color. And I love the option of leaving the flames on if the temperature is turned down. It barely made a difference in my power bill and I’ve used it most every day.

I love this so much I want to get another one. The heat is good for my 700 sq feet space. The crackler is a must. The remote is tricky. I do wish I could set it on a specific temp but it stays on 72. It cuts off I guess when it gets hot or the room temp reaches 72. Either way it keeps the space warm. No complaints

I didn't like the remote, it was hard to tell what heat setting it was on. And it doesn't heat my room like it said it would with the Square footage. But it does look 😍 but not practical.
