Great Stuff!
This is the best vegan protein powder I have found so far. The taste is subtle, almost a bit nutty. I have used it in porridge and protein pancakes so far. Would definitely recommend. Additionally all the packaging, both the delivery packaging and that of the product itself are recyclable. An extra big tick!

Great protein, worth it!!
The media could not be loaded. 1. Taste is ok, no to sweet! This is important on the weight loss journey because you want to get out of the sugar addition so less sweet taste is important2. Good quality ingredients3. No side effects4. Calories is not everything, it is 95kcal for 19.5G protein which I consider decent. And it’s natural! Yes, one can get more protein for the calories give in the product that are highly artificial…I am delighted with this product. Comparing to others on the market, I think this is just idea. And it is in paper packaging - not plastic!!

Vom-Fodder. Or should I say 'Takes getting used to'.
I should disclose that I hate the taste of Stevia sweetener.Even a fresh leaf off the Stevia plant has a ghastly aftertaste. It's just like trying a sugarlump dipped in washing powder. But some of the reviews here suggested to me that the Stevia effect may have somehow been overcome with this powder, as they described it as tasty etc.First try I must have used too much as I immediately assumed that the soya milk I used had gone sour asthe shake was inedible.I've since tried it by measuring out the 25g on digital scales as there's no measuring scoop provided nor mention of whether the suggested serving of 5 teaspoons should be heaped or not.The sad thing is, that some of the flavours I quite like but what is this OBSESSION with sweetening everything? Protein shakes in general are all ridiculously oversweetened. With pea, brown rice and quinwoah etc. this could have made a superb semi-savoury shake.I would love to have known what this would have been like without the Stevia and cacao but with a teaspoon of Marmite or half a stock cube added. THAT would be a meal in a glass.I have the same problem with many green 'vegetable' drinks. They're not veg at all, they're all grape syrup and pear juice to get the sugar up.I think Boxed Off should bite the bullet and offer this without sweeteners as a neutral drink which you could make sweet or savoury by adding your own seasoning. As it is, I can't say whether I'll mix it with better tasting choccy flavoured powders to mask the aftertaste or whether I'll offer it to the friends in my vermiculture setup.3 stars is generous imo but I can get it down if I don't make it too strong -hardly a recommendation!

Have to Improve Flavour with Extra Ingredients Myself but Otherwise a Great Blend
I like to get more natural and plant based protein powders where possible and especially if they have good eco credentials on the packaging front too - which Boxed Off definitely do as this plant-based protein comes in a very nicely presented paper pouch (so no excessive plastic) and is a great alternative to plastic tubs and pouches for those keen on supporting products that use sustainable/environmental-friendly packaging. The powder itself is a very good blend and great vegan option with a good mix that includes pea, brown rice, quinoa, chia seeds, and hemps for the protein side of things and very little else added other thn mostly some coco ans Stevia, but I was surprised as found this difficult to tell really and it was nowhere near as sweet as I thought it would be and I actually find the taste of this on it's own a little weird and not as enjoyable as I hoped. It mixes easily on it's own though but I need to mix it thoroughly with other ingredients to improve the flavour (adding coco, chocolate milk and a banana) but it's then pretty nice - so although not the best tasting by itself it is still a good vegan option if you're happy to spruce up the flavour yourself and especially if you like to support more eco friendly products as it has a very decent 25g of protein per serving (a lot of plant based ones I've had are around 20g per serving) as well as being pretty good value for a 500g pouch of a thorough plant blend like this so would still recommend.

Cacoa flavoured
I ordered this set based on the title, which made no mention that this was cacoa flavoured. I had been planning to use it to increase the protein content in some vegetable soups as I try to follow a low carb vegetarian diet but needed the extra protein to fill me up. Unfortunately this flavour does not work for this- it was clearly my mistake as it does mention this in the text and says cacoa on the photo but I would have thought flavour would have been included in the title too. This is designed to be added to any milk or smoothie and is vegan so can be used with eg oat/almond milks etc and contains 20* 25g servings so is £1 per serving (although some may chose to use more than 25/g serving as others recommend up to 40 or 50g). I tried making into a milkshake and found it clumped together so would benefit from a whisk or blender to ensure fully mixed. It has a rather subtle flavour and I found the sweetness of it (stevia) more powerful than the taste itself, which I found to be slightly malty/nutty. Its not horrible but I’m not sure I like it, I had considered whether I could offer it to my children instead of a chocolate milkshake but I don’t think the flavour is strong enough. It comes in a biodegrable thick paper packet which is great environmentally. The packet has a ziplock type closure which I did find difficult to get it to seal fully.
