Same thing for much cheaper
Very easy to install and made a great gate. Still holding up well 2 months later, and a much cheaper kit then box box stores offer.

Work fine for the gate on my deck
I built and installed a gate for my deck using these braces. The gate has been up over two year and it just as sturdy today as it was when I first hung it.

Good to go with a couple mods
Works good. But upgrade the screws they are too whimpy and short for the hinges.The direction say to cut the width of the cross members one inch shorter than the opening. Not sure why. There was no creep on the materials so now we just have a big one inch gap on the strike side.

Works great at our farm
These are great! We have an older farm and the openings are not anywhere near standard. Best kits I have ever used. We have installed 4 now, 2 for goats and 2 for man doors.The only thing that I have found is that you need to use a different type screw to attach the hinge to the frame. The supplied ones break fairly easy when you have remove them.

Easy way to make the gate you need
These worked perfectly for two different sized gates I made using 2X4 pressure treated wood. I agree completely with other comments that longer screws should be used. Used a cable latch (bought separately) with them. If there's a need for another gate in my future I'd use these again.
