Connecting ThreadsColor Wheel Premium Precut Quilting Fabric Bundle Fat Quarters (Soft Rainbow)

I wanted to like this fabric. The colors were good and the quality of the fabric seems great, but I'd really like to know who cut it?!?! These are NOT evenly cut at all. I was unable to use several pieces for the project i bought them for. I can use them for other things but not the original reason I purchased them. I'm really unhappy with this.

I bought this fabric to use for quilting. First off, the colours are absolutely gorgeous, so I'm very pleased with that. That said, I was under the impression that there would be 22" of usable fabric in each square but there are selvage edges on each one that I have unfolded that take up enough of the fabric that I'm losing about 1/2 an inch on each one.That may not be a big deal to some people but the quilt I'm making is huge with over 3,000 little pieces to sew together just for the squares so that's disappointing to me. All of that said these seemed like a great price compared to some of the competition and they are seriously suuuch beautiful colours.

Connecting Threads is my go-to place for my quilting needs (their thread is AWESOME!) and I love that I'm finding more of it here on Amazon so I can get Prime shipping when I just want one or two things. Using the pattern to make an item for a swap I'm part of.

I bought this for an assortment of colors to use in a portrait quilt. Love the fine weave and hand of this fabric. Nice color assortment.

Very lovely colors and nice fabric for quilting. Would purchase again.

Nice medium weight cotton, washed and dried without too much shrinkage or twisting. Some ravel of threads at edges but less than many colors, and nice blend of colors.

Loved the colors selection on the fat quarters smooch that I ordered a second in a different color way. The look and feel good. I have not checked out if they are colorfast.
