Cheap looking
Very small for standerd bread just did not look good at all

In expensive for a reason
Doesn't toast bread evenly or consistently. Only takes small slices, so if you're toasting standard slices you need to cut them in half. Unimpressed.

Cheap made toaster
Although the pric of this toaster is nearly £28, it is made so cheap and so bad. I actually suppose the price is so high only because of the MasterChef brand, cause otherwise there's nothing about this toaster that would cost more that £10.It's made from some very thin metal, the toaster is very lightweight, in my opinion - very cheap version of a toaster.I've been testing it for 2 weeks and during this time it worked good, did the job and everything that was supposed to. In the Amazon page, the description of the toaster is presenting basic features as very premium one, like - auto-pop-up or switching off, which was also strange for me. Regarding using it more than a couple of months, it's obvious that this toaster won't resist, all because everything about this product - gears, pieces, the inside and outside metallic layer can be felt being so cheap and light.3 stars for the toaster that is made from cheap components and materials, but branded and with an unfair price.

It does make good toast
I was completely underwhelmed by this toaster when I opened it. I knew it was compact before ordering so I wasn’t bothered by the overall size - it fits perfectly where I wanted it to. I was shocked the slots were also very small - but it’s the perfect size for gluten free/keto breads so I get a dedicated toaster without worrying about cross contamination. It was the appearance that surprised me, as it looks cheaper and more basic than my value brand toaster - and it is more basic than my £12 toaster that has a defrost button on it too. Whilst I was expecting compact overall the bread slots are small too. I couldn’t see how this could be worth the price or deserve the Masterchef brand name to be honest, but I always keep an open mind until I’ve used something. As a household we don’t eat much bread, I only buy small loaves so a small toaster suits our needs but even this small loaf stuck out the top of the slots. I set it to 4 and expected it would need turning to get it toasted properly but it was crisp from top to bottom on first go. We probably struck lucky with the guess but it’s perfect for that loaf and the toast tasted good, according to my husband and son. I’ve since tried gluten free seeded and my keto bread and got great tasting toast both times. Much better in this one because my slices are tiny and get lost in the larger toaster slots. I am intending to keep it as a dedicated gluten free toaster but it is good for an small sliced loaf. My £12 value toaster makes better toast with any sized slices than the expensive retro toaster I replaced, so you can never judge by price. Whilst this toaster suits my purposes, it’s not better than our value one. It does make great toast so I think it deserves 4 stars, but I also think most families would find it unsuitable. The most annoying thing about this toaster is it attracts dust. Every day it looks just as dirty despite repeatedly wiping it down and I think it looks cheap, rather than modern. My 4 stars are based on it making good toast based on my needs - and I’m being generous because it’s the best tasting toast I’ve had for a long time as my very small slices don’t cook well in a normal toaster. My son and husband would continue using it if I didn’t need my own toaster. I have had to use toaster bags or my ninja Foodi until now. I will probably continue moaning about it being a dust magnet, and I can’t see any reason the price is so high either. Had it not made great toast I’d have given it 2 stars.

No frills, does its job
This is an absolutely no frills toasting appliance that does what its meant to do in an adequate fashion. It is quite attractive with a high gloss black that looks well in any kitchen environment. It comes complete with a temperature setting knob, and a "cancel" button which simply stops the coaster and raises the bread tray.It toasts bread! That is what its designed to do and that's what it does. however it does suffer from what many toasters suffer from in that it is incapable of giving an even finish. It inevitably toasts very well at the lower end and hardly at all at the upper. This is hardly a criticism, as as almost all but the most expensive machines do this, and the point of this machine is that it is not expensive.Cheap and does its job! Just about.

Not very good at all.
Not impressed at all. I was expecting a lot more for the price and brand behind this product. It is definitely a compact toaster but to the point where you can’t really toast much at all.The slot are very small and standard slices don’t really fit in well at all. The overall feel and look of the product is very underwhelming. Cheap toasters from a supermarket are far cheaper and way better than this. If you manage to fit any bread in it, the toast isn’t bad but it just isn’t worth the price. It really feels like they made the cheapest, smallest toaster they could possibly make, slapped the Masterchef logo on it and tried to make as much money as possible out of it because of its branding. Had this not been a review item, I’d be sending it back.

Think twice before you buy
I would say it is bad series of products rather than good. Right after box it looks and feels very cheap, lightweight, things like simply handle to turn it on had some scuffs, overall look and quality very poor. I wanted to try it anyway and i wasn't surprised, it hasn't been best experience with toaster i had in my life. I am not sure if that was normal but it started steaming so much like crazy, smell of plastic as well for next couple uses as well. Waffle i wanted to warm up was uneven roasted. Bread same, burned on some places and another white. Strange. Only good thing about this toaster that it have "cancel" button, for simply canceling roasting. Besides of that too cheap and too expensive. You can buy for this money stainless steal with better quality.
