Not for arc welding
These are great for light duty mig welding or tig welding. They are fabulous for mockup/fitting during fabrication. Light weight and protects your hands. BUT... if your going to finish weld the project, switch to a heavier pair of gloves or you will burn the top of the hand and fingers out.For the negative reviews on these, you have to use them for the purpose they were intended for. If your going to lay down alot of beads, obviously that is going to a) produce wicked heat and b) going to throw off a crap ton of sparks, so you have to use heavy duty gloves for that situation.Bottom line, if your looking for welding gloves that will handle anything a Welder will expose them to then I would not get these. But if your like me, and hate handling materials, grinding and just plain working in this trade with thick cumbersome gloves, then these are a pleasant alternative to be able to switch into and get more done with the added control.

Great work gloves but not the best for welding. They have little heat resistance.
I love the fit of these gloves I just wish they actually worked for welding. Don't get me wrong you can weld with them but you might as well put your hand In a fire. Once your hands feel the heat it's too late. They just continue to get hotter to the point where you think your hands and the gloves will melt together. I have used them for both mig and Tig with the same results. On a plus note I now have a comfy pair of work gloves

Great fit and comfortable but sparks burnt holes in the top
That's great and very comfortable to wear but the material on the top of hand has holes in it from slag

Best for TIG
I’ve held off on this review a couple weeks just to be sure. I TIG weld small medical parts and these are perfect for TIG welding. They form to the hand great after about a week, they are durable as well. The shorter wrist band allows for flexible mobility of the wrists without pinch points. I’ve been looking for the right gloves for about a year trying as many options as I could find. These are my #1 choice to date. Best bang for your buck. Would not recommend for MIG welding, they would burn up pretty quick with the fabric on the back.

A little snug
I like to think I have avg hands for a guy that’s 5’10” and these gloves although they fit I consider them to be a little on the snug side. Could be they need to be broken in. Will update after more use.

They feel great, but have some issues.
The product came with stitching coming out of the thumb.Fabricators will know this is a bad sign, and the thumb is already on it's way out before I even used it.That being said, they are comfortable and feel far better than mechanix gloves i normally purchase. I just doubt that they will last much longer than a pair of Mechanix gloves. They wouldn't offer a partial refund, and I didnt want to waste the gas to return one item. I expect Miller products to be the upmost quality. Clearly the seller does not.

Great for tig welding and grinding
Kinda pricey but worth the money. Nice and comfortable. Padded for comfort.

I grind down metal and it gets pretty hot. Got a good burn on my arm ...
I am going to compare this to the el Cheapo gloves that Miller carries as their "multipurpose" glove.I grind down metal and it gets pretty hot. Got a good burn on my arm because of it. These gloves actually have melted into the metal a couple of times. Furthermore, I legitimately wore a hole through the index finger in the first month (I only really work on this stuff during weekends however).I bought these gloves because the multipurpose ones were free, and had lasted me six months! I thought I would upgrade, but not so much. The Velcro on the new gloves also is depressing, while the multipurpose are just simple slip ins. Based on the price, you can make a decision yourself.

Misleading add
Do not purchase theses if you read the add and expect 2 pairs as it reads. Thanks
