Great price.
Excellent price. Fit perfectly with no issues with the new part. Installation was not much fun, but that has nothing to do with the part itself.

Great Replacement Pump!
Took a while to install, but not due to this item, rather the fact that you need to lift the motor a little bit to get it out and back in. This Replacement Pump seems to be of equal quality to the original I took out. It included the Rubber Seal, so I didn't need to purchase anything else. I did NOT use any sealant other than the included seal, and the leak is gone. I'm hoping for a long life from this.

Long term: No problems yet
Installed this on my wife's 2007 R56 base Cooper hardtop about 6 months ago. Seems like a good quality part, Much cheaper than buying from the Mini dealer. All metal construction vs. the original plastic (though I have read the new OEM parts are all metal... I'm sure the engineers just had NO idea that plastic wouldn't hold up past ~75k miles... /sarc)Installation was much more difficult than expected. I think it took me around 6 or 7 hours. That's BMW's fault of course, not Airtex's. If you are averse to (or paying for) labor then maybe consider buying the OEM part, because if it fails then you will have to do the job all over again. I figured worst case, if I had to do it twice then at least the second time around should be easier, but so far it seems to be holding up.Update: Nearly a year on, and over 15000 miles since installing this water pump. Still fine as as far as I can tell. I'll give it 5 stars if it gets to 60k! Unless we sell the car first...

Working properly, good value.
Better quality (to my best estimation anyway) than the original water pump. This pump has a metal housing, instead of the original plastic, which warped and started leaking. 3 months after installation, no problems at all.

Buyer be Ware. Warrenty is to short.
I purchased this pump in Mid March 2018 for a 2007 Mini Cooper. It appeared to be a sturdy unit when it arrived . Due to bad weather we could not install it till late April 2018. Its a difficult install that will take several hours to do. The problems with the united started about 3 weeks after the install. First it was several drops of anti freeze under the car. That grew into a full fledge leak by mid May 2018. we finally could not take the refilling of the tank and took apart the Mini a second time during the Memorial weekend of 2018. Once we could see the exposed pump we ran the engine to see were the leak was coming from. to our surprise the leak was comping from the small rectangular plastic insert in the pump base?. Its unfortunate that it took us so long ( from the original purchase date) to install the unit but it was only leak free for a few weeks before the leaking began. Mini Coopers are difficult fixes on nearly everthing but having to fix it twice because the replacement part failed is a real bummer. Buyer Be Ware !!!

It fit and pumps water.
The water pump fit fine and works but I'm hearing a slight bearing whine and I have my concerns that it will last as long as the original (60k miles)
