Next day delivery and as described
Happy with the phone so far. A few things to be aware of with the Pixel is there is no headphone jack, the cable is USB type c so your old Android cable won't work and there is unlimited free storage until 2022 for photos and videos (even 4k). Camera is great, though if you're buying purely for the camera compare the Xiaomi Mi 9, in HDR mode it looks like the Mi 9 takes better photos.

a flagship 2020 killer, though....
Call screen is not working outside of US. camera is superb for photography, not for video. unlimited storage for photo til 2022 is also the best. battery is mediocre, 3-4 hours screen time in 2020 is not acceptable. plus this phone gets hot when using VOIP like skype, etc

This Is An Amazing Phone, Don't Fall Into The Trap Of Comparison Frenzy
After agonizing for months about which phone to buy, I chose to upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge to a Pixel 3 toward the end of November 2019. I read and watched every possible review on the Pixel 3 and 4 and nearly went with a 4, but realized the Pixel 3 had everything I was looking for in a phone (and more) for a much better price than the 4.The following are a few things I prioritize in a phone and I hope hearing my experience will help you make your decision.1. Obviously the camera is absolutely amazing. Pictures come out exactly how things look in real life, if not better. I've taken tons of photos since having this phone and love how pictures come out, even before editing them.2. Battery life was a big concern of mine prior to buying the phone. Everything I read or saw online told me it was horrendous, but for me it works beautifully. I use my phone for the necessities and listen to music/podcasts for about an hour or two total throughout the day between YouTube, Pandora, and Spotify. I usually have about 10-20% left at the end of the night, and there are days I start at 5 AM. With that being said, I've realized battery life is extremely subjective based on how often you use your phone. For me, a non-heavy user, this phone works perfectly.3. Processing speed is actually quite nice on this phone. Sure it doesn't have a 90 Hz display but how much does that affect my quality of life? Absolutely none. In fact, my quality of life is probably better not having it because it doesn't drain my battery. This is a pretty fast phone despite what people said about it "only" having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. I never find it lagging even with multiple apps open, although I don't play any games on my phone. It's very fast for the average user in my opinion.4. Screen brightness has not been an issue at all for me. Many reviews told me the screen doesn'tget bright enough, but it's pretty amazing and sometimes even too bright. The reviews I read typically showed the Pixel 3 side by side with another, brighter phone.. but how often do I use two phones simultaneously side by side? Never. So those comparisons are for comparison sake only and in real world use, the Pixel 3 has a beautiful display that is plenty bright.5. Other things that made me go with this over other phones on the market at the time (iPhone 11 Pro, Pixel 4, Samsung Galaxy S10 or Note 10, OnePlus 7 Pro) were the fingerprint scanner on the back, the ability to save over 2 years (through January 2022) worth of original quality photos onto Google photos for free, the ability to seamlessly use Google software on my phone (drive, photos, Chrome, etc.), the customizability (from home screen to developer options), strong haptic feedback, and definitely price (got this for around $450 new).Since having it, I absolutely love it and don't see myself switching from Pixel to another brand for my next phone.. but that's hopefully several years from now so we'll see what happens. For now and for the next several years, I'm going to enjoy my Pixel 3 and all it has to offer.

Worst phone of all Google products that I ever had
Ok, Google, you failed me BIG time.I was a faithful android user for years, I had almost all of the Google phones there were.Although they all had some minor glitches, nothing too big to stop me from enjoying my google phone.I purchased this particular phone with the consideration that Google equals quality.I could always rely on my google phone and be sure it won't fail me.This had been my statement for many years, I even managed to convince several determined apple product users to give Google a chance. However this particular phone is the WORST I ever had.To say that I over-payed to be extremely dissatisfied is to horribly underestimate.I wish I have returned this piece of horror while I still could.1) Day 1 it arrived it started having bluetooth connectivity issues. The sound will cut off/disappear and then come back. Not the connection issue, definitely the phone's bug.Problem was solved by reloading the phone. This problem arises almost every day and I have to reload the phone often2) Day 2 - phone shut off due to overheating.3) after about a couple weeks of having the phone I started having proximity sensor issues. When my hand will be close to the top of the page, the screen would just go black.Guess how this was solved? Yes - just reload. Kind of reminds me of Windows :)))) 4) Unlimited storage in the cloud has something going wrong, because my cloud always reminds me that I have a tiny amount of space left and need to do something about it.However I was hoping that all of the issues would be resolved with the new version of Android.Guess what? After a new Android version was released a couple of days ago and I installed it, things got WORSE!A new bug in addition to unresolved previous ones is introduced - the hotspot could not turn on!I can not believe it. My Google product is getting worse and worse.I literally feel like throwing this thing into the garbage. Here you go reliability, quality etc.Although being Android faithful for years, I am seriously considering to go all the way Apple. What is going on with you, Google?UPDATE:I contacted Google and obviously overheating is one of the major issues with this phone, because they have a special team dedicated to this! These ridiculous instructions were handled to me by Google regarding overheating. These basically mean: don't use GPS, wi-fi, 4G, daydream view, any apps the phone did not come with, do not adjust display brightness, turn off your device frequently so it can cool down.don't use anything normally and comfortably on this phone, limit everything and turn off everything. If the phone can not do the simple things, why would I even use it?And mind you, why do you talk about the watch in "Android wear section", could you have at least edited the copy-paste you have sent to me? I did not contact you because of the watch!QUOTE FROM GOOGLE:"If your device sometimes feels warmer than normal, there usually isn't cause for concern. Letting the device ‘take a break’ from use or limiting/turning off features (even those running in the background) could remedy the situation. Here are some tips/suggestions:Media apps (music, video games):Close or turn off other apps and features that you're not using; they may be running in the background.Discontinue using the media temporarily until the temperature normalizes.User-installed apps:Put the device in safe mode to disable 3rd party apps and see if the issue improves.Try uninstalling recently installed apps to pinpoint the app causing the issue.Display brightness:Manually setting the brightness to be very bright may contribute to higher device temperature.Consider setting to auto brightness or manually reducing the brightness setting.GPS / 3G / WiFi - prolonged data connectivity:Turn off feature when not in use.Stop or limit use and allow device to cool down if it gets warm.Exposure to direct heat :Remove from heat and keep away from direct heat or excessive sunlight.Poor ventilation:Expose the device rather than keeping it tucked away in poor ventilated/tight areas (layers, small pockets, bags).Cases:Don't use a case that covers the front and back of the device.Use an official case (available on Google Store in some countries).Chargers:Don't use unofficial chargers which can overcharge and degrade the battery.Use official charger (available on Google Store in some countries).Daydream View:Daydream View requires high performance from the device. The device's temperature should stay within safe limits.Remove any protective cases from the device to improve thermal ventilation. If your device feels too hot, stop using Daydream View and allow the device to cool down.Android Wear:Power off the device for 5-10 minutes and turn it on again.Try using the watch for another day to see if your issue improves. If your watch is still warm after a day, reply to this email and let us know. Please trye below steps if the issue is not fixed.Steps : Reset your device to factory settings. If the issue is still not resolved or if you can't enable safe mode, resetting the device to factory settings may help. This will erase all local data on your device, so I'd recommend backing up your personal pictures, music and video files."

It was a fine phone, until it came down with a crippling issue
This summer, the charging port of my Moto G7 broke for the second time. I decided to see if a phone with wireless charging capabilities could get around this problem. After some research, I settled on the Google Pixel 3, as I had always been curious about how a phone made by Google would be. The beginnings with the phone were rocky, as finding a case with a kickstand for the phone proved problematic. I wound up getting a case without a kickstand, which let the phone charge wirelessly. I later bought a magnetic kickstand, but this removed the phone's wireless charging capability. But aside from that, the phone worked fine...that is, until recently. A few weeks ago, the phone began having an error where, out of nowhere, the news screen would pop up at random, and boot me back to the home screen, where all of my apps were gone. The phone was still running, and if I got a notification from an app, I could open it with that. Failing that, I could use the google assistant to open it, but once I backed out of the app, I was back on my appless home screen. The recent apps menu was blank, and when I opened that while in an app, the app would go away and here I was again. Resetting the phone or using the backup feature restored the apps, but before long it would happen again.I did some digging. It turned out that there was another variation of this issue, where the icon for the app would disappear, but the text under it was still there and it could still be pressed. I eventually found a reddit page with my particular issue, and some of the comments on it were only a few hours old. They basically all said, "I have this problem too." It was here that I factory reset my phone. A few hours later, I was right back where I started, this issue again. Some people speculate that the recent android update might have something to do with it, and Google Pixels seem to be the poster children for the issue. From what I understand, neither Google nor Android have commented on the issue, and there does not seem to be a fix available.Until this problem started, the phone worked fine. It was not the greatest smartphone I ever used, but it was competent. For as long as this issue persists, I will be hard-pressed to recommend the Pixel Phones. Maybe one day Google and/or Android will fix it, but until then, we Pixel owners seem to have little recourse other than sitting on our hands and dealing with it until a fix comes along, as there seems to be nothing on our end that will do more than get our apps back on the home screen for a second. This sadly leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, and I foresee that I will probably not get another pixel after this one.

Major Battery Defect In All Pixel Phones
I purchased 3 Pixel Phones. 2 - Pixel 4XL, and 1 Pixel 3. For myself, my wife, and my son. All three were brand new unlocked. I am mentioning all three here because this issue affects all of these phones and not just the Pixel 4XL.Had the phone less than a year. Used it normally, kept it well protected. Previous owner of LG phones and never had issues. Less than a year and my Pixel 4XL is having a hard time charging. Sometimes it registers as charging. Sometimes it doesn't. It is intermittent. More and more it refuses to charge. Then it stops charging completely. I look at the back and the back is coming unglued (it is poorly put together) as the battery is swelling up. Fortunately, I was still under warranty because it was less than a year. I took it do repair shop and had battery replaced. A few months go by and my other Pixel 4XL (my wife's) is having same problem. Not charging, back is coming unglued. Battery swelling up. Hers is under warranty so I took it to shop and got battery replaced. A little over a year goes by (about 18 months) and my son's Pixel 3 starting to have problems. His pixel 3 is well kept and mostly at home as he doesn't go out due to COVID-19. Half the time screen won't turn on. Now screen is completely dead and I have noticed back is peeling off as well. But his is now out of warranty. Got rid of all my pixels and got Galaxy Note Ultra 20. It's a good phone but I hate the fact that it is so big and not vanilla Android and galaxy removed the visual voicemail icon from phone app. Prefer vanilla. I loved Pixel interface and everything. But because they all die in under a year due to battery defect, I will NEVER use this crappy Pixel product again.

Great phone
This was a flagship phone just four years ago. It comes unlocked and is easy to put your current SIM card in. It has a sharp screen and takes great pictures. A little smaller than phones I have been using but I got to really like the size after a while. I was able to upgrade it to Android 12 which is just one behind the current version. And for around $30 I bought the generation one Google wireless charger which makes it easy to keep the phone charged up. Very happy.
