No need for a ice machine or anything else if you like chipped and cracked ice this is the piece for you. The Handle is flexible so when it hits the ice it just cracks and chips it with ease. Fir those who like to chew ice you’ll love it, I don’t know how else to explain this ice hammer. Thank you.

I was disappointed in this ice hammer, seems so flimsy and doesn't do a good job breaking ice.

My aunt had one of these decades ago. Sometimes our ice clumps up. One or two walks with this breaks up the cubes. Also works when I use ice cube trays. I tap the bottom of the tray and the ice comes out very easily.

Love it! I don't have an ice maker and this helps break up the ice easily.

Broke first time one ice

I grew up envying my grandfather's ice cube breaker, which looked very much like this one. His, however, had a solid disk of metal that dealt the percussive blows. THIS has two thin, curved, metal caps (one on each side) that flew off on ice cube number 3. Don't buy. Waste of money.
