Seems to work pretty well.... a bit of care is needed to avoid fraying the ends... just use your common sense. The Ziplock bags keep the unused braid nice and tidy

I was looking for wire mesh or metal, cable protectors as I got a house bunny, who loves chewing everything, including laptop chargers.Luckily I had a spare, but trying to get this product through it was a nightmare, but I managed it, with lots of fraying, because its just cheap plastic stuff, so I guess I miss read that it was made of some kind of wire mesh..Ordered cable ties, because on a laptop cable it's fraying like crazy, so you waste quite a bit of the tubing & it looks a mess, & you don't want some ending up in your plug sockets.I wish I had bought the ones, that open & snap into place & are actually made of wire mesh to protect your pet & your cables, not made of PET.

I bought this to solve a couple of things I am doing, which is currently building a slightly customised classic vw. So I wanted a new wiring loom that was both tidy and actually looked quite cool, with the striking red and black it was exactly what I was after. So far I made up 1 long section of wiring loom and found a couple of 'its brilliant, but...' situations:The kit comes with 25mm, 19mm and 6mm, I think it could have done with 12mm as well. The 25mm seems it would take a lot of wire!The heat shrink provided I thought 'cool thats how you tidy the ends, neat', no. The heat shrink doesnt seem to be exactly big enough for what the cable sleeve is capable of, so I used a good deal of the 19mm size sleeve, but even the largest size heat shrink provided isnt really big enough for this. I'm sure for some of the smaller parts of my loom this will be useable, maybe I am using it wrong?I'd say its an ideal tidying product and looks cool, but for finishing the ends maybe look for some bigger heat shrink thats like 30mm diameter with a 3to1 shrink ratio, or use a product called Tesa Tape which is a fabric tape used for Automotive wiring looms (its what I have used), which unlike PVC tape wont just come undone over time.

Fit perfectly and looks great

Works perfectly for my needs. I’m running 1/0 ga power wire for my amps, I am not a fan of red. So this is perfect to match my other wires and set up being blue. Easy to work with and fits perfectly. Highly recommend this product. And for the price definitely can’t go wrong.
