UCTRONICS RD6006 DC Variable Bench Power Supply Module, 6A 360W Constant Voltage Current Stabilized Regulator, Adjustable Step Down Converter with Intelligent Temperature-Controlled Fan

I got both the 6006 head unit and also the power source / case. It's a really complete package; everything you need to build the unit is included (all screws/wires/etc), and it's easy to put it all together yourself. The wires even have crimped spades attached and everything. The only tool you need is a screwdriver. Refer to both the included instruction sheet and also the photos on this webpage, and you'll be able to connect everything correctly.As the manual warns in multiple places, be sure to correctly set the 220V/110V switch before you plug it in.Also pick up a CR1220 battery, since it doesn't come with one (probably to avoid shipping lithium batteries in the package). You'll need the battery to permanently save settings like date, time, etc. You'll also need a power cord to plug into the wall outlet, the same type as used for PCs (probably not included due to international wall outlet differences). It does come with one extra fuse.

I ordered this as I needed a variable power supply that went from about 60 volts down to 0 for testing. I used a 48 Volt meanwell power supply which adjusted up to about 57 volts. Was easy to connect and operate. I did 3d print an enclosure for it and the power supply and added a power cord plug. The design made it very easy to design an enclosure that fit and the tabs slid in perfectly and held it in place.

So far so good tested up to 3a on 14.4vdc input. About 150mv pulse ripple. Can only output up to 1v lower than input. Makes sense buck only no boost. Easy to use once figured out dial is push to enter and also push to exit depends which menu loses 1 star for that. Pcb looks built well, smd and decent inductor. Weird little c current thing it "hunts" a few milli amps every ten seconds or so. C Volt display keeps up with my fluke to +/-.01v. Good value if it lasts.

By the time you get the power supply, the case and the unit itself it is not a good value for what it is. The noisy output ripple is horrendous. Definitely not a match for sensitive electronics, especially for the overall price.

Documentation could be easier to use.This unit requires an external power supply to operate
