Flint works as expected
What's more to say. Works for the current project I'm working on. No lantern involved. Makes a spark and has more flints included.

Works awesome. The flint is kinda week. I actually replaced the flint with a spare that I had for a zippo lighter. Works great. No more burning my fingers with a match or a lighter trying to get the flame to go up that hole while the gas is building up. Then you get a fireball coming out the top. We’ve all done it. Haha. Scares the crap out of the none campers. Nor just waiting to see how it holds up under the heat of constant use for nights on end while camping. I have a Coleman Dual Fuel. Approximately 20 years old. WELL USED!!! Since I can’t find the actual “Coleman Fuel” any more. I just use regular unleaded gasoline. Like I said we’ll see how this igniter holds up. So far so good.After reading other reviewers I’m adding to mine......... on my dual fuel it was hard to turn at first. I noticed it does have height adjustment. You’ll notice the top brass nut had a wire in one side and it is able to slide up and down a channel in the main body. Once you get it to the height above the Fuel tank where it’s comfortable for you to turn the striker knob, turn the brass nut about a quarter turn so that wire is no longer in the channel. That will lock the height. Even though it is still straight up and down. Then screw the chrome nut and washer on the bottom side. Pretty simple. Takes a minor amount of mechanical aptitude but I’m sure no more than someone who’s willing to spend the night outside without a cell phone to light their way. Haha.

214Aにて使用。ケロシンランタンはプレヒートカップに着火しないといけないのでステーを曲げ角度を調整しましたがどうしても指でノブを持てる位置で限界まで伸ばしても50回に一回着火するかしないかで実用性0でした。が、ランタン本体は無加工で付けるのが拘りで付けた以上は飾りなんてごめんですしイグナイターの位置も今が1番しっくりくるので生かす為同サイズの真鍮パイプと丸棒を用意してロウ付け延長したりました。しっかり擦り合わせたので回しやすさも純正と変わらず、プレヒートカップの最寄に調整して棒を狙いの位置に伸ばしても指に無理がかからず1発で着火可能になりました。まだ装着してからまだケースにしまっていませんがそのまましまうと延長した棒がケースに当たりそうなので着火する時みたく外から見て棒を中に押した状態で収納すれば問題無さそうですね。ちなみにホイールがすり減って火花が飛びづらい場合はノブを外し、ホイールが付いてる棒を少し上へずらし石とホイールの当たる位置を少しだけずらしてノブを固定してあげるとスプリングが大丈夫なら火花が飛ぶようになります。恐らく火花が飛ぶ時計回り以外(反時計回り)に回してしまうとホイールが摩耗する気がします。一度お試しください。
