This is a nice little box. Well made, with dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances. I build a number of custom small electronic devices, many of which require about this much space. This box is above average in quality, and comes with features that make it ideal for custom-permanent installation of switching equipment, custom processors, transformer interfaces and small power supplies and regulators, etc.This box gets it done, with no fuss and a bit of extra elegance compared to some DIY builder boxes.It is a little different form factor than the usual die-cast stomp box, and better suited for the aforementioned interfaces, PSU, etc., but it could in a pinch be made to be a stomp box, especially for something that has a fully built board that you could slide in the slots on the inside of the extruded body.Be aware that the primary body consists of a four-sided aluminum extrusion, so whatever you build won't be built "inside the box". It will definitely be a "build and put in the box" situation. Note that the extruded body has a couple of interior slots suitable for sliding in a PCB. The PCB will have to pretty much be single sided component wise if you are using traditional through hole stuff. There appears to be enough clearance to allow for surface mount on both sides when using the extrusion slot for the pCB.All in all, a good buy.

I used this project case to build a line input switch-box for additional audio inputs. It was a perfect case for this little project. I wouldn't hesitate to reorder for similar small projects. Well made and looks good.

I am unable to close the box with all screws, because the holes do not line up on the metal parts.
