I just bought this product seeing all the positive reviews. But what I felt is that in real the product isn't that great. Moreover the knob was missing and even the package was already opened when I had received it and the lid was bent in one corner. The quality of the product isn't great. It is very light weight item and definitely not value for money. Good thing is that it is big and well spaced cavties it contains. I'm returning this product for the damage it holds and even the package wasn't good there was no box for the product they have just wrapped in a cardboard sheet.

As a family we enjoy South Indian dishes and it is made quite frequent in our home. I have tried couple of Appam makers however never been satisfied.Sjeware appam maker is very light and the cavities are are of good size.It is non stick and the upper arms do not get burnt even though the material is lightweight.It can be put directly on the flame and the uppam cook very fast.

Already received defective product with no packing box. No brand name on product except capital letter 'M'. Very light weight (75gm) like plastic. Can be easily deformed by hand even by a kid. Wooden flipping spoon is basically an ice cream stick given a particular shape by blade. Coating will come off just by rubbing with finger.INSTEAD buy a little expensive cast iron(pre seasoned) pan rather than wasting time on such footpath products.

Made excellent panriyam. Used it on the medium burner on my gas hob on medium heat. Started filling the outer moulds, finishing last with the three in the middle to ensure even frying. Very happy with the product. Extremely light and good nonstick coating. To ensure long life for the coating only use a wooden or silicone spatula to turn over the panriyam. Also if you take the standard precautions for nonstick surfaces it should last long. Only wash with warm water, dishwashing liquid and a sponge scrub.

The media could not be loaded.  The product is pathetic in quality. After I received the product, that is when I found that its not Aluminium but its "Aliminium"So all in all its no metal, its a plastic. I scared to use it coz, the burning heat might melt the so called plastic vessel. Very bad. Do not order this product. The owner have played it smart with spellings in the product's name. Demand for a complete refund. I know you will not do that 😂

The issue is with the lid which is way too thin and the mid holder is very flat so I keep burning as it will touch hands no matter how much careful you. Better to use another lid as the one that comes with it is a total waste. I have never seen such thin lid. Otherwise ok kind of product. It's aluminium so should be much cheaper.
