Save the planet, use these chewable toothpaste tablets!
It’s a great product! The taste isn’t too bad - it’s something to get used to. And the packaging is all recyclable / eco friendly. So much better for the environment than buying a tube of toothpaste! My only concern is that my teeth don’t feel as clean as they do when I use toothpaste; the makers of this product maybe need to work on the degree of “minty-ness” 😊

Revolutionary!
Okay, I'm a toothpaste fanatic. I've tried hundreds of pastes. I've been so disappointed that in the end I was just using baking soda. I won't take you through my life-long journey of toothpaste trepidation, but I will say, the buck stops here.Portion-sized, TRAVEL-sized, utterly convenient tablets are the way to go! You lose less (tell me you haven't lost paste down the drain), you use less, you spend less (not paying for the WATER component), you waste less (can't stress this enough- these come with NO plastic! 100% compostable packaging! - I save plastic containers, as I take the 3 (or 4) Rs to heart, and I'm sick of accumulating toothpaste tubes, they are nearly useless, and just unnecessary), and they work just as well and taste quite nice - though there are plenty of flavors to try if vanilla-mint isn't your jam. They even have bubblegum. Just a note, with these, you taste the mint almost as soon as you bite into it, but as you brush it around the flavor mellows out. Tip: rinse your mouth before you pop a tablet, that's all the moisture you'll need to get it to foam up. I personally did not find the foam overbearing like some reviewers, I'd say it's low-to-average, but I also usually use an electric brush, if that makes any difference. OH, and did I mention, they are absolutely cruelty-free?! I've come across some extremely questionable pastes on my journey...it's important to remember that animals get exploited in numerous ways by even seemingly innocent product manufacturers. Pastes with animal pieces as ingredients? You betcha. Lethal animal testing? Oh yeah. Non-lethal long-term animal torture "testing?" Yup, that too. And it's not as if they advertise it, you need to dig, and it's an ugly, ugly hole that'll never improve if consumers don't demand it. It can be as simple as making informed and compassionate choices when you shop. It can be as middle-ground as writing polite emails to companies with questionable practices. It can be as passionate as advocating in the media. In short, these tablets leave me with a clean conscience and clean teeth. Thank you! I will be buying these from now on.

So far I am loving these tabs!
I am always looking for plastic-free or plastic-reducing solutions for everyday life. I have been considering tooth tabs for over a year, but until now hadn't pulled the trigger. I have seen the big brands advertised online for a long time but didn't want to bite while dealing with a subscription-based service (who wants to deal with.. or can remember... to cancel if you don't like something!?). I then decided I would search Amazon and see what their available tooth tabs were.FIRST IMPRESSIONSOther than the fact that these arrived in the plastic bubble mailer (come on, Amazon - send these in a recyclable cardboard box please) I could not have been more excited when these arrived. I don't know that I've ever looked forward to brushing my teeth until the day these arrived! As someone who dislikes the feeling of typical toothpaste (why does it BURN ! so bad!) I was hoping these would be different... and let me tell you they absolutely deliver on that. The feeling is quite different - chewing the tablet, making sure NOT to swallow it, the flavor is different - but I enjoyed using this. My teeth still felt clean even though I found myself wondering... are they really clean? Only because the absent burning feeling paste gives you.PERFORMANCEAgain, because this is nothing like typical paste, the overall feeling is different. I have been using it for a few days now and do not notice any difference in how clean my teeth feel though. I don't notice any tartar buildup, no differences in how my gums look or feel. Because of the mild mint flavor, I am not sure if my breath is truly as fresh as it would be with paste. However according to the box these came in the tabs are supposed to be great for everything. I use a sonic toothbrush, and the foam is very fine to almost non-existent, so it is a very different experience. Because of that, I think in my mind I am not getting as good of a cleaning. I did notice that when I went out of town and just used my manual travel toothbrush, the foam was a lot more abundant, so perhaps something about sonic vibrations reduce the amount of foaming.NO FLUORIDE?I am not a person who particularly has feelings one way or another about fluoride. I know many people choose to avoid it. I am sure it is in my water source as well, and I really don't know if it is good or bad, but these are fluoride free. They do have xylitol, which seems to get a bad rep because it can be toxic to dogs but I have no dogs in my house so I don't have to worry about that. I did find myself thinking that if these were available in a version *with* fluoride, I would try them just to compare performance, but maybe it is better this way. A quick internet search on Xylitol says that it is claimed to balance saliva pH thereby fighting tooth decay. This sounds like a good ingredient to have in a tooth tab, if that is true!FLAVORFor those who don't like that burning and strong mint flavor, these are a great option. Honestly... they taste SO good that I find it challenging not to swallow them like mint candies!

So nice
I have reviewed another version of these....I tried these on a whim after seeing tooth tabs all over and being curious, but hearing that they tasted awful. OBVIOUSLY those people have never tried these! I really like the flavor of these. They aren't overwhelmingly minty, the vanilla is subtle but just enough to tame the mint.I love traveling with these! They are SO much easier to travel with than toothpaste! Just grab a tab or two per day you're traveling, drop 'em in a container (travel pill container works great!) and go!These don't get chalky or super gritty when you chew them down to brush, they foam up decently but don't make you look like you're a rabid dog, either.Overall, I keep coming back. This was my second (third?) 3 pack, and I've bough 3 or 4 single bottles.

Perfect for travel
We are snowbirds. This is our 2nd season traveling in an RV and the small container of tabs is easier than a tube to travel with. We both like the cleansing quality of the tabs but it's a bit expensive for us to use year around. My grandchildren each use half a tab per brushing, my daughter uses a tab, and the rest of us use one and a half tabs. You discover quickly what you need. Hubs said there is still toothpaste gunk in the drain pipe but a fraction of what regular paste leaves so that is definitely another advantage.Plus it's a great go bag item! Lighter and smaller than a tube. I save the monthly containers so we can each have one in our emergency bag in case we get separated, plus it's more sanitary to share tabs than a tube! If I was still working I'd keep a container in my desk. Yes, I'm a fan!

Not for me
Loved this idea, but honestly these things are kind of gross. I always feel they are stuck in my teeth when I'm done brushing, and it's too much foam; i could do with 30% less per tablet. But they are sitting beside my regular toothpaste and I just started using my toothpaste again, I don't think these tabs are for me. Also they come out to about $9 a month, which is not a deal killer but, I don't spend nearly that much on normal toothpaste! Wonderfully packaged in a cardboard box and tiny plastic bag, which I poured the contents of this refill into a glass jar and that worked great.
