This is a well made cable and will transmit 4K at 60hz no problem, however, it will NOT do 4K, 60Hz, 10\12-bit colour depth (for professional workstation monitors) as I don't believe HDMI 2.0 has enough bandwidth for this task. As long as you do not need 10\12-bit colour depth (you also need a monitor and graphics card that is 10-bit capable) you will be fine.If you do require 4K, 60Hz at 10-bit, you will need a 'display port' cable instead (beware of lengths over 2 metres).

When my extended display stopped working, I had several weeks of wondering if my previous adapter had failed, or if the problem could possibly be my Surface Book's miniDisplayPort, (I had tested 2nd monitor & hdmi cable successfully, so it wasn't them).So I decided to replace the adaptor and happily this solved the problem. I am delighted that it includes a length of hdmi cable, which I've simply plugged straight into the 2nd monitor. The fit is snug and I am back up with two screens again, for a very modest outlay.

I bought this cable to be able to project from my Microsoft Surface Pro to computer screens and TV's with HDMI slots (e.g. for watching Netflix). The cable was delivered within a couple of days, exceeding expectations. Having used it a couple of times so far, it has worked very well on both non-HD and HD screens. I haven't tested it on a decent set of speakers yet, but the sound quality has been very good on my TV speakers so I wouldn't expect any issues there. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This arrived in super fast time - so pleased. It fitted immediately no problems and worked perfectly ...This cable is fitted to my Macmini 2009. To the second (smaller with 16 central pins the other has 32 pins) of the two display ports that are on the back of the computer.Previously I had to use a VGA adapter to connect to a VGA cable to my monitor. I now have a smart TV Monitor and needed a different connection. This just plugged in to the back of the computer and then straight into the HDMI port on the tv..

Product arrived quickly and performs as billed. Can't assess durability as only just purchased but it is not going to get moved around much so I'm not anticipating problems. The issue is in the packaging; it's very heavy on plastic with no discernible need.The out cardboard carton is fine but is colour printed on white stock; is this necessary on an e-product. It is will never be displayed in a retail setting. Inside is a plastic vacuum formed tray which could easily be swapped out for card without risk to the product. Then there is plastic film wrap on the connectors to protect against scratches and hard plastic caps on the connector ends. Technically I can see why the later might be needed but certainly not the VFT tray and the end caps. Please get more creative to make your packaging more resource efficient.
