Good information provided for beginner ms

I appreciate the interesting facts the author included because they expand my understanding of soap. The sections on selling soap, going into business, and ingredients labels are very useful and well thought out.The fact that the pages are not numbered compound (of course) by no table of contents makes this book difficult to use. I have gone through and put sticky notes on the edges of the pages. Now I will write numbers on the pages and build a table on contents so I can resource the info. in the book. Since I am a rank beginner, I would like to have all the details of each recipe fully written out rather than to be referred to another section of the book. The ingredient list is on one page and the process used is elsewhere.I still think this book has much to offer. No numbers on the pages brought the rating down.

The book had a strange format, and had a lot of typos. The information was good, but not communicated terribly well.

No pictures for "Hands-On" - No "Step-by-Step". - No pictures of actual "Products" to be used, or your "Finished" product.....A nice "History" book.Was going to use this to teach some children "Soap Making" craft...(as we all are learning together).Will keep the book for the history part of it.I'm sorry, I was disappointed with this book.

Bought as a Xmas gift, I thought book was good, although I'm not the persons who will use it. My daughter loves making soap and I'm sure she'll enjoy it
