Great product. I love that the gel pack not only covers my back and fastens in the front, but also that it has extensions that go up and over my shoulder to the front, where it fastens with velcro straps. It delivers a comfortable heat to all of my trigger areas whether I am standing, walking or sitting. Well worth the money.

I tore my meniscus a while back and still have some pain and swelling from time to time. Was visiting a friend and had been trying to keep up with her twin 5 year olds. Later in the afternoon my knee was killing me. She pulled this gem out of her freezer and I sat down and wrapped it around my knee. I knew INSTANTLY this was not your ordinary cold wrap. This blows ALL other cold wraps out of the water. I don’t know how a cold wrap can be special, but this one is. The texture, consistency/pliability of the wrap and level of cool are just amazing. She said it was recommended to her by her physical therapist. I ordered one for myself as I sat there using hers.

Very nice wrap. I use it for the cold aspect of its use. Easy to use and keeps everything wrapped in it cold for quite a while.

I bought this after having my rotator cuff surgery. They use this specific wrap at the Physical Therapy clinic I go to for the shoulder rehab so I got one to use at home as well. The wrap conforms to my shoulder perfectly and stays cold for at least 20 minutes. I haven't tried longer than that but seems like it would stay cold for at least a half hour. The built in velcro straps are convenient as well. The temperature is perfect - not too cold as to cause damage but definitely cold enough to get the job done. I haven't tried heating it so I can't say how well that works but if you have occasional need for ice, this is perfect. I just keep it in the freezer so it's ready when I need it. It is way better than ice because it doesn't get wet, doesn't leak and you don't have to make ice bags. Just pull it out of the freezer whenever you need it. Plus I can't say enough about how it molds to your body which ice does not do.

I purchased this for my wife who recently had knee replacement. It easily wraps around her knee and the elastic velcro straps are a great idea for securing it. I would recommend putting a hand-towel around the knee or limb before wrapping the gel pad as it is pretty darned cold. The only complaint is that it doesn't stay cold as long as expected. Otherwise great product.
