This is my tenth figurine from Diamond Select and one of my favorites. I have read a lot of reviews about bad paint jobs and other disparaging remarks about their quality compared to other manufacturers. Frankly I don't see it. I have examined every statue with a very critical eye and have found few flaws. The colors used are exactly what one would expect. Iron Man's suit is metallic, Cat Woman's leotard looks like latex and Thor's outfit matches his movie counterpart. These are made of dense plastic, not resin, but the fine details are there. Fingers are separate and there are no seams from the molding process.If I had paid $150 or more for each of these, maybe I would be more picky. Thor was the most expensive at just under $50. The rest were between $30 and $40. It just isn't fair to complain that they don't match the quality of figurines costing four or more times as much. Toy action figures this size will run at least twelve dollars and they are a magnitude lower in detail and paint job. Frankly some of my statues are better looking than similar ones costing hundreds more.These are boxed well and make a good presentation even if you never free them from their cardboard prison. Great value,great price.
