I am a woman of a certain age...and have loved reading Jane Austen's novels over the years. I bought myself a large book several years ago containing all of her most popular works in one book. It ended up looking beautiful on my bookshelf, but because of the weight, it was very hard to hold in bed and read at night, or anytime really... so I found myself not utilizing the book at all and donated it. I have been looking at box collection sets for long time, and recently found this one. I was drawn to it for several reasons--beautiful artwork, paperback and easy to hold, clear lettering on spine of each title. Well, I just received the set and I am extremely happy with it! I was willing to pay much more for a box set, so another bonus is the affordable cost of it. Also, thank you seller for wrapping it EXTREMELY WELL, so that it traveled without any damage. I appreciate that kind of attention to detail! I am so happy to add this to my collection of classic books. During stressful times, I find these novels so enjoyable, they take me to a place of comfort and interest, and my soul is soothed. Highly recommend!

This is a perfect book box if you want the whole collection but don’t have money to buy the fancy looking once. They look good and are good books. Def worth the money

The only negative review I have is that the books are not published by penguin as the description says. It’s published by an Indian company located in Mumbai, called Wilco.However, the books are good for the price. I love the covers and the books are easy to read with nice sized font. Even little footnotes with details too which was a bonus. :)

When you are young you read books that become your friends. They sit on your night stand, you tote them around town in your book bag. When I lost my eyes - it was reading books that I missed the most.At blind school they taught me Braille and that was wonderful but different. Later, when I received two corneal transplants I was able to see many things - but books I could afford were printed so small I was unable to read them.I found these books that are clearly printed in easy to read format. I feel like it’s a spiritual homecoming for me.I love touching a book. I love smelling a book. I love knowing I can easily take it around with me in a car, train, bus or plane.I love that I can sit in a garden chair and read it while listening to delicious sounds of SPRING.

A bargain for a complete well done set of Jane Austin novels. A must have for any Austin classic reader. Easy to read size printed word. Well packaged.

The font is a very readable size! There are also just a few footnotes for some of the references that are a little archaic. I think this addition is really nice.

These books are well bound and of course the stories are magnificent!

I will not comment on the texts, they are authored by Austen; I assume the buyers are familiar with the works.As for the quality of the texts put simply outstanding. It is increasingly hard to buy good quality classis text. The fond size tends to be unreadable; paper of poor quality; and the general presentation of the book poor.Not here. Everything from font size to presentation is excellent. In addition they were sent protected well in a box: no excessive wrapping, just enough to protect the contents.I will make a note of the publishing house, and they will be my first port of call.

Was everything I expected. Plastic coverage around it for protection and all the books and box are really good quality. Really happy to finally have these books. Incredible price too!

I had read two of the books previously. I’ve enjoyed reading the other four books and after a couple of these books one falls into the genre with ease with some laugh out loud moments. I would certainly recommend

Beautiful product of great quality, good font size including footnotes and which was a nice surprise although the pages are a little thin it’s nothing major and doesn’t take away from the pleasure of the reading experience :)
