I bought this item for behind a bed because I needed more outlets and using a typical outlet would not have fit well with plugs being inserted into it. Since this outlet has the plugs on the side instead of in the front, it works perfectly behind a bed or in other tight spaces. It has also been very nice since I gained not only two outlets with this item, but two USB ports as well. I can charge 2 phones and have up to 4 plugs inserted at the same time, which is very convenient. Overall, this is a great product that I've already recommended to people!

If you want your furniture to be able to be close to the wall, but also need to plus some things in back there, this is a great solution. I like that this has outlets to the right and the left, plus USB plugs and a niche on the top for holding items like a phone, tablet, etc. It looks nice and is simple to use and helps streamline things around the house.

I needed a USB adapter for an outlet that was slim design and this is perfect. The USB ports are on the side, this allows the wires to fit close to the wall. I am using this adapter behind a large dresser table, this is exactly what I needed to allow my dresser table to fit close to the wall and not have to allow several inches for the plug and wires to come straight out from the wall. It's working great so far!

This device works great when needing both electrical plugs and usb ports. They are on the sides so it doesn’t interfere with furniture placement. Phone can even be placed on top if needed. Satisfied with my purchase.

I was looking for an outlet that had both standard power and USB connections along with the ability to hold my phone. There are some options out there where the phone can actually plug in, but my phone has USB-C connection, and all I could find were models that had a Lightning connector (for iPhone) and micro USB (for Android). Then I found this model. As you can see from the picture I attached, I purchased a small braided USB C cord that I could plug in to the outlet, and set my phone on top. Granted, my phone sits sideways on the top, but that's ok - I simply wanted a way for my phone to charge at night, and be a good distance from the bed (so I have to physically get up to respond to the alarm!).I like how the electrical and USB outlets are on the side of this unit. Takes up less space that way, particularly if you were to put this behind furniture or something.

Bought my second one of these. Really helpful to have the following features:+ cords go in sides, so you can put furniture against it+ 3.1 amps / 15 watts, so you can charge larger items like tablets+ shelf on top so you can rest a phone or tablet while chargingOther reviewers mentioned the surge protection isn't enough. I don't know much about that, but I like the form and function of this multiple outlet so much that I took mine to my parents' for the holidays - where someone is *always* forgetting a charger, and had to buy a second to have at home by my bed.

The unit works pretty good and fits snug into the wall socket I don't have a problem with it shaking loose it charges like a normal usb chargers definitely not a fast charger I had to put a piece of tape over the blue LED light as it is extremely bright and even then it's strong enough to penetrate the plastic and still put off a haze that is noticeable other than that if it's behind something you would never notice it

This is a great little unit; however, the little blue light (which I was not aware of when I purchased) is VERY BRIGHT. Because the unit is in an outlet in my bedroom, I had to put heavy-duty tape over the light as it lit my room up enough to keep me awake.CONS: really bright light, charging cable not compatible with some phones/tablets and causes slow battery charging.PROS: awesome set up (love the configuration), light is actually a super-handy feature if in a kitchen, larger room or nightlight IS needed, love the functionality of the phone rest and overall would buy this product again if needed.

The other flat outlet was garbage. You couldn’t even plug in a simple light, the prong’s didn’t even fit in all the way. Now, this Bestten slim plug is perfect and each outlet is grounded so it’s versatile, it works like a charm. Highly recommend it.

Got it same day, fast delivery Amazon! Been using for about 2 weeks, so far so good. I like the stand above, to keep the phone out of the way, and I got some 1 foot USB cables to minimize clutter. I didn't time the charging but it seems to charge fast enough. I got this one due for the high ampage in hopes it charge our phones fast. Nothing charges my Samsung Note 4 as fast as the original charger, but this one is fast enough for me. Only wish it had the ability to be screwed to the receptacle but it actually fits in snugly so have not had any issue with it coming out of the plugs, and since the plugs go in sideways, I don't expect this would be a major issue.
