It started with a tough farm boot and a simple belief that boots should work as hard as the people wearing them.Thousands of styles and refinements later, Georgia Boot continues to do whatever it takes to give workers, farmers and hunters exactly what their feet are asking for. For every harsh condition on the job or in the field, there's a design from Georgia Boot to provide comfort and protection. Whoever you are, whatever you do, wherever you need to go. Longest lasting boots I've ever worn
I'll flat-out admit I am not gentle or forgiving to the boots I wear. I have done construction, and heavy factory work in these boots. All I can say is they are the most comfortable out of the box and toughest boots I have ever purchased. I basically wear boots all year, they have to work in mud, dirt, kicking metal, walking on concrete for easily 80% of my day and still be ready to do it all again the next morning. I have destroyed many an expensive pair of "work boots" and found they didn't live up to any of the qualities reviews ever left. These boots more than live up to my standards. I have had 2 pairs of Georgia work boots, the first lasted a year and a half. For me most boots were lucky to make it 5 months even if I would baby them. These have little to no break in, they have never gotten a funky boot smell , and most of all the only reason I bought a new pair was because I wore through the soles of the last pair.If you need a boot that can work as hard as you can, then for me this is them. As far as I am willing to say, so long as Georgia boots keep making this boot then this is the only one I intend to buy.

Excellent boots
I'm on my 3rd pair of these boots and love them! They last me between 2.5 - 3 years of daily hard use. The photo shows my last pair I had for almost 3 years. Very comfortable and excellent ankle support. The wedge soles work well for standing/walking on hard surfaces and for driving a truck and equipment. I have narrow feet and the M fits perfectly. I've worked in these boots in WY snow and AZ summers. What finally wears out for me is the soles and padding and I tend to wear through the left boot toe leather to the steel from kneeling and dragging my toe. They hold up well to moderate welding/grinding, I've burned through laces with no boot damage. I cant think of anything I'd change other than adding Kevlar laces!

Decent boot
The only thing I see I didn’t like was that the inner sole does not come out, thus I can’t use orthopedic shoe inserts

Husband's new favorite work boot!!
The bottom of the boot is flat, which, according to my husband, is a game changer! He's like a little kid getting his first new pair of shoes; he's super excited at the quality and build! He is now a Georgia Boot Man for life!! He says that it's not like wearing a normal ,heavy boot! He's been able to work longer without changing out of his boots the moment he clocks out! That's amazing in our book!!

Too much buildup under the high of the boot.
I bought this boot on 30th of September. I wore sometime within that next week for the first time. The right boot where the first eye goes in the first eye on the left side underneath that I had to put Band-Aids on my feet because it hurt that toe so much. I have worn it twice after that thinking it would break in. And hasn’t done so. I should’ve returned it after the first time but I’ve had boots that had to break in before but obviously these aren’t going to break in. I have button Georgia boots this time before through Amazon. I haven’t had any trouble with them.

Great boots but order a half size down
Great quality and build. I would prefer a sole that wasn’t flat. Great work boots though. A little oversized for my feet though after they wear in

Most comfortable boots for rodbusters!
My husband is an ironworker, most commonly known as a "rodbuster". He's on his feet at least 8 hours a day if not more and the ground he trails on isn't always flat so a very comfortable and safe shoe is a must have "tool". My husband loves these boots, he's tried Timberlands, Red Wings, Diehards, Chippewa, and some other brands that I can't remember and every time he needs a new pair he buys these. These boots can last him up to 8-9 months then he retires them to the batch of "work around the house" shoes. These are 8 inch high boots, so they offer really good ankle support. Additionally, they are steel toe and have saved my husbands toes more times than I can count at work. These are just plain awesome, highly recommend!!!!!!!!

the lace holes rub against your feet causing discomfort
the lace holes rub against your feet causing discomfort and irritation not at all what I expected for the price of the boot

Not worth the mid level price tag
This boot left me fairly disappointed when I unpacked them. The insole can not be removed despite being advertised as such, meaning once I wear through this one I'll either have to try to rip it out or buy a new pair of boots. The outsole is very low quality and extremely hard. I've owned several pairs of wedge soled work boots and this is the worst outsole I've had yet by far. I haven't worn them to work yet but I can already tell these are going to be a major letdown for getting around on cold iron or for climbing a column, so if you're an ironworker I'd recommend passing up on these boots. The leather does seem decently tough so at least they have that going for them. I'm torn between paying to ship these back or taking them to be resoled with a higher quality outsole and trying them out. This is a boot I would feel much more comfortable paying $150 or less for.
