I purchased this product as oem replacement for my land rover disco 2, it didn't fit well so I made some adjustment for my car to fit, but know its working fine and fast charging, but I don't know how long its may lasts, will give an update.

Amazing quality. Samsung, Huawei and iPhone charge at lightning speed. Added batter voltmeter is a big bonus to know how good your car battery is.

this is actually a very cool little device. it allows me to monitor the battery voltage in digital format at a glance. in fact, it helped me catch a failing battery in my vehicle which saved me from being stranded with a dead battery somewhere by signaling it was time for replacement. The device arrived fairly quickly and was easy to install for me. i simply popped the cigarette lighter out and put this in as a direct replacement. Wires that came with it were all pre-terminated so it took me less than 10 minutes including the time it took to figure out how to get access to where i needed to work. Buy this gizmo if you want to do away with the plug in USB adapters for the cigarette lighter socket...thing...everybody uses for USB adapters anyway.

I wanted to have a USB charging option on the bike and this not only worked into the color scheme, it added a voltmeter and fit the pre-cut slot on the bike! Apparently some bikes (Kawi) offer a spot for a 'factory' USB charger. This looks better and has the added features of a waterproof cover and voltmeter. I found a video demonstrating how to install one of these (again, very similar to the factory/dealer option) which meant I didn't have to add an additional circuit onto the bike, just needed to get this connected to the existing relay. I did do that in a hacky way and just removed one of the quick connectors that was pre-attached. It worked like a charm!.. So, why the 4 instead of 5 stars? Well, it says Fast charging, but I'm sure it requires a different circuit to pull that off. Maybe you can plug it into the 'battery tender' connector and hide that, but most bikes wouldn't support that feature. The wires could've been longer, but they did include an inline fuse attached! I still 100% recommend it for my purpose.

Don't use a plug in to the cigarette lighter. I was getting maybe 1 amp on a supposedly 2 amp plugin.With this device in place, I'm seeing a solid 6 amps draw with 2 devices connected at the same time. This ROCKS. It's safe too b/c it has the fuse built into it. It was worth every penny and every bit of the trouble to install. If you want a good charger & want to ditch the cigarette lighter, this is a great buy. I bought 2 of them & replaced both ports in my vehicle. Amazing power and now my devices actually gain a charge instead of drain more slowly.

I installed this on my motorcycle and it would not charge my phone. In 2 hours my phone would go from 90% to 40%. Then i brought another heavy duty quick charging chord and voila. It charged my phone and only took 30 minutes longer than my house wall charger took. So if you buy this also buy aquick churning heavy duty chord. Especially if you are using this on a motorcycle like i did.

Installed in my 1990 Miata in place of the factory cigarette lighter. Had to expand the hole a little bit using my dremel to get it to fit tightly. Reused the factory metal bezel and removed the pre installed dust cover. Didn’t use the included wiring, just snipped off old original connecter and spliced in new female ends to connect to new plug. Make sure you plug the positive and negative into the correct terminals. No fuse needed since the circuit is already fuses. Looks great and matches the green led interior lights. Love the added usb chargers and the ability to have a voltmeter. Would highly recommend to anybody with an older car to add some modern touches.
