Golden State Art, Pack of 10 11x14 Double Picture Mats with White Core Bevel Cut for 8x10 Pictures + Backing + Bags, Mix Color

I purchased these for my art paintings to frame my artwork for a craft show. They were of good quality. Arrived promptly, and were packaged in a study box to prevent product from being damaged. I would definitely purchase again and would recommend.

This was a nice quality mat for artshows. Good value for the money.

These Double Mats are acid free and excellent quality. I've re-ordered several times because the cuts are pretty much perfect, flat level (they don't arrive warped), color quality and selection is great. The photo is a bit misleading because you receive really nice choice of colors that most can be used for my purpose. Outdoor scenes and wildlife photography tends to have a lot of greens and brown (owls in trees, eagles in nests). But other scenes such as pink and blue sunsets, purple mountain ranges, etc ... can be matted in nearly any color and look so amazing it's surprising.I also order their neutral colored double mats like ivory on ivory in separate quantities when I need more of this one color.I love getting a new shipment after printing new images and try out various color combinations. I'm often surprised and excited at mats I would not have thought to put with a piece.Only downside: No Amazon Prime Shipping - boo. So when I order 11 x 14, 8 x 10, 5 x 7 I do pay separate shipping fees about 7 bucks or so each. Golden could do even more business if they figured out this part -- however, these are very nice cut mats and may not house well in an Amazon facility -- who knows. So for protecting your photography, mounting with acid free tapes, the right backing paper and the right plastic sleeves, original photography is protected and ready for customers to enjoy. Highly recommend this company; wish shipping could be a little faster and with Prime. But otherwise - excellent.

Most of these are fine--nice color combinations and go well with my photographs, and the mats are well constructed. But of the last batch I received, a couple were scratched and not usable. I will still reorder these because the low price makes the purchase worthwhile, but I do wish they'd inspect them for defects. It's nice to be able to offer colorful mats to my customers, not just the usual white, and the price helps me keep my costs down, which I pass on to my customers.

I sell prints matted prints of my photos and Golden State's double mats are my favorites. Great quality. Love them. The gold inner mat just adds that special little touch to the photo.

Perfect for my needs

I bought the package of mats with backing boards and bags. I was pleased with the product. The mats were of quality, not thin and flimsy like some I've purchased off the shelf. The backing boards matched and fit together as they should, along with the bags. One thing that was different than I expected concerns the bags. I expected ten identical bags. What I got was nine identical bags that were placed inside a 10th bag. That 10th bag opened on a different side and was slightly larger than the other nine. Also, and not a fault of the seller, was that tenth bag was scuffed or marred during shipping, making it unusable for presenting my product in a new condition bag.

I was so surprise at the organization of this box...aprox 2 inch side walls to protect mats all in cellophane, backing boards on the bottom wrapped tightly, and sealing bags on top and the lid closed. You can't get much better than that. I was impressed. I will always order from these guys again. Great Job guys,, the double mats were beautiful. I have cut mats before,, you guys did a great job. All mats boards were cut perfectly, no over cuts, colors matched. I looked at one double mat board at Michaels today with no back board $7.91. But they do have half price frames which is a lot of help. But as we all know, Mats are the trickier part to get it right. Thanks again. So as a person who sells Photography, its important to get the right vendor and leave the rest on the porch.

I hadn’t paid attention initially that these had a double bevel but that definitely makes these a step above. Very nice quality, much sturdier than previous ones I’ve ordered. They also came very well packed in a box frame inside a box. Great for storage or transport. Unlike another reviewer I received 10 identical clear bags.

I got mostly black and whites which is great. they are glued together though so you can't mix and match.

Good mats. Third set that I've ordered.
