easy fix
it was an easy solution to an otherwise difficult and expensive problem.

Finally, the correct product
I bought an different model that lasted less than a year. Called Dometic direct and got the correct part # (Different than previous one I had purchased).It sucks that you have to pay 3-4X the cost of aftermarket but at least I know this one is correct.
