Great for the money

This is an impressive fluorocarbon line that outperforms some of the leading manufacturers. I have been a fly-fishing angler for many years and have always preferred fluorocarbon as my leader. When this fluorocarbon was offered for review, I felt happy to oblige. I would advise to cut the first 300mm off and discard safely. The strength of the line appears to be more than the rated 3.0 lbs line I received for reviewing. I tried to snap it using my bare hands and found the line held up well, and I personally gave way before the line did. The 3lb fluorocarbon is easy to tie my flies on and I feel confident the line won’t snap at the hook, as has happened to me on a few occasions over the years. I will most certainly be looking to Sunshine Fishing for any future fluorocarbon requirements I have. The price for 3 x100 metre reels is very good and I shall be purchasing the 4 x 5.5lb when it is in stock. Some of the trout in the lakes/ponds I fish weigh up to 13lbs, hence I may need the stronger fluorocarbon. I award this product a well deserved 5 stars.

Very good value when compared with the competition but no apparent loss of function or overall quality as a result. As fluorocarbon this tippet material sinks quicker than monofilament nylon and is virtually invisible in the water. A little less flexible initially but softens once wet.Three spools plus a holder and clip to attach to your fishing vest - hard to beat!

Three nice reels of line that are quite invisible in water. They sink quick and appear to hold up to the rated breaking strain. No tangles on the spool that I tried, so all good there.Nice addition of a reel holder that you can clip to your vest, or just keep them together.

Durable and high quality fishing line, it’s performed really well for me fly fishing for Rainbow Trout at my local lake. Overall it’s very good.
