You Won't be Disappointed With Your Purchase
This is a very well written book. It is easy reading, but it is packed full of valuable content. I'm a middle aged adult and loved the read. It's masterfully done wherein it reaches both children and adults. I wish I would have known the wealth mentality concepts as a child and certainly as a young adult. Glad I have learned them now. I learned so much that I didn't know I didn't know! The author uses many comparisons and stories, and this helps the concepts stick. I feel like I gleaned way more information than the almost $25 I paid for the book. I'm recommending it all over the place. If you are on the edge and don't know if you should purchase this book, trust me: purchase it. I really don't think you'll regret it.

Great read for the whole family!
When I bought this book for my daughter, I never expected to learn so much myself! The author is incredibly creative and weaves great principles about wealth into a story that was fun and engaging for myself and my teenager. This book teaches concepts I haven’t seen anywhere else and they are so needed! It definitely has our wheels turning about how to apply the principles in our family.

Changed our family forever!
Our family loved this book so much. My husband and I run multiple businesses and have wanted to teach our kids these principles since they were born. This book did it for us in a way that has stuck with our kids and my husband and I learned a lot too!

Fun and inspiring book to get young entrepreneurs thinking
During the Pandemic if 2020 I found myself with our 5 children, 4 others belonging to neighbors and friends, and a summer of "What will we do?" Having entrepreneurial children, who love starting businesses, I searched for something to teach. I found Katie Bell and the Wishing Well. With the younger children, we read aloud this wonderful story filled with examples of what to do and not to to do as a young start-up entrepreneur. We took each chapter, outlined it and rewrote a summary paragraph or two. Then we took a break, came back and discussed the concepts. We learned and discussed all the vocabulary related to business and played a jeopardy game around all the concepts in the book, with 7 children ages 8-14 they all enjoyed and learned so much from this book.Besides new vocabulary associated with business, we covered fear and the three reactions people naturally respond with and discussed when Katie Bell got scared and what her reaction was and how she could have responded better. We discussed how fear holds us back from doing the right thing. The author doesn't go into this, but the story leaves many opportunities to use Katie as an example for topics like this. All the children got inspired by the concepts in this book, they broke off into groups to begin their start-ups. Some started a lemonade, stand complete with masks and gloves, to fund their other business idea, paintball targets, for which they even began a website. Another child was planning her online comic series. Very fun and inspiring book to get little minds thinking.Because we went so in depth, this class we almost 2 months long, 3 days a week. Can be lighter depending on reader and teacher. We haven't opened the workbook that goes along with the book yet, but will as soon as we wrap up the last two chapters.

It opened doors for discussion with my kids.
I'm not sure if us parents or the kids liked the book more. The story is understandable and engaging for both the kids and adults and the author makes it easy and fun to read. We read it during dinner time and our dinners seemed to get longer and longer as no one wanted to be done with dinner. One thing that I as a parent have loved, are the discussions that happen as a result of the book. Life gets busy and we want talk finances with our kids but it rarely just happens. The book has opened the door for discussion and the kids feel comfortable asking about different ideas. For example, they didn’t know what interest was so we had a dinner discussion about that. It was fun talking about the topic and telling them they can pay it but even better, they can also earn it. And we've found that if they are asking the questions, they are more interested in the answer as opposed to us randomly preaching to them. It also has life and behavioral lessons that are sinking in with our kids better than when we try to teach them. You'll be glad on many levels with buying the book.

Such a great book. I highly recommend it.
When I sat down to read Katie Bell, I was expecting to get a few pointers about how to save and spend money, possibly how to start investing, and of course some ways to talk to my kids about these things. It’s so much more than that. Money is put in the context of physical, interpersonal, emotional health. And it really has made it easier to talk to my kids about some of the things that bring true happiness, and how money can be acquired and used for good. In the book, Grandpa Bell teaches Katie in understandable and relatable ways that have also helped my 10-year old daughter remember the principles. Nephi Zufelt has hit on a straight-forward and fundamental set of principles that just simply ring true to me. He presents it in an engaging story that most kids will be interested in reading. I plan to re-read it soon and will be discussing the principles with my kids often as I try to teach them about wealth.
