Amazing! True quality
I have multiple pairs of boots in the 100-300 range and these surpass all of them. Solid leather and a style that will never go out of style. Have been wearing them for 3-4 days straight now. After a quick break in, they are so comfortable. For size, I typically wear a 10 in shoes and a 9.5 in boots. These are a 9 and a perfect.

Love these... but you really should attach a half sole.
These boots are great. I will say that you need to take care of them. I would also attach a rubber half-sole to their front.That may just be me... but I walk a lot, and after a week I could tell that this was needed.These boots are great quality leather - no denying this. While this is true, the sole leather they use is much softer than the highest quality sole leather I've experienced (and to be honest, expected on these famed boots). I would venture to guess that you'd walk through the stitching in a season. People might be ok with that - but I would expect a lot more than that. You should be able to walk on sole leather (in wet or dry) for several seasons before that point is reached. So that's where the 5th star was lost.I will say that once I attached that half sole... man these boots became great. I expect to have them for many years of heavy use.

Very nice boots.Comment points: *Soft but tough leather. *Smells wonderful. *Does not need much breaking in (but don't think it doesn't need it because it does to be completely comfortable) *Got the brown but it actually has a reddish hue to it. Very nice. Glad I didn't get Rust. Would be too much red for my taste. *Runs small. Generally a size 10 fits me well. From Toms to Allen Edmonds Jeffersons a 10 fits me well. These boots (at least for my size) runs a size smaller. I ordered a size 9D and I have plenty of room in the toe area. *Heel fits well and is stable.

but will they break in well...
Seem very high quality, but Im a little worried that they may stretch a little too much, particularly in the width. Im accustomed to buying a smaller size with all leather shoes/boots but these weren't quite as tight as I expected, hope they don't stretch too much.
