This is one of the best natural iron supplements I've ever taken. The #1 reason for that proclamation is how gentle it is on the stomach - no constipation, gurgling, pain, or upset. That was always the determining factor of whether or not I would continue with an oral iron supplement. The absorption is awesome. It's taking a bit more time for my numbers to return to normal, but considering where my numbers were, any improvement is welcome! When I stopped taking them (for financial reasons), my numbers stopped improving too. This supplement worked like no other iron supplement before. For years I’ve been super tired and rarely go a day without napping. I’ve tried other iron supplements that have brought up my iron levels to the “normal” range but I haven’t felt any difference physically. Any most supplements never work for me. But THIS! THIS one was a small miracle because after a week I felt great. I felt motivated and productive and didn’t need to nap. It was a big change. But ultimately I had to stop taking them. They upset my stomach and made me hugely bloated. I finally realized it was because of the added fiber. The discomfort outweighed the benefit. I will be looking for something similar without the fiber.
