Howard Miller 613-110 Westmont Wall Clock

I like everything about this clock - the looks, finish, sound, accuracy, build quality. Out of the box, it is keeping almost perfect time. However, there is one "feature" that keeps me from giving this 5 stars. In fact, if I had known this, I probably would not have purchased it. Still unsure if I should keep it. A major requirement for me is the ability to silence the chimes at night. Well, this clock does indeed meet that requirement, except there are only certain intervals during the hour cycle that you can turn off the chimes without them being out of sync for an hour or two when you turn them back on.This is not a defect in my particular clock; it is documented in the manual.

Works as expected, Looks better than the picture, keeps accurate time. Only problem I encountered is because of the size and weight when opening the door the bottom swings on the wall. I had to improvise under the bottom to keep it stable on the wall. I would have thought that Howard Miller would have provided proper mounting or mentioned that.
