Pepsi Cola 1893 Original Cola & Ginger Cola 3 Cans Each

I was intrigued by the ads and really wanted to try it but i could not find it anywhere in stores. So my thoughtful wife bought me a case for Christmas! It's good. Not incredible, but good. Yet for the difficulty in acquiring and the cost, there are a lot of craft cola options out there that are just as good or better. I was really routing for Pepsi - been my favorite since childhood. And while i applaud the Masters for their attempt, i believe the folks at Pepsico can do a little better! ;-)

As it was the only way at the time to get them...I ordered them up. While they were both better than their standard product...and the ginger was was quite strong....I would consider purchasing but their price is higher than I like...so it will not be a huge draw for me.

As for the cola, at first I was thinking I got a bad can and then I tried #2 the next day to get the same impression. These go flat really fast, they have an awkward sweetness that has a bad aftertaste. I do not recommend them. My friend took the ginger ales. He wasn't impressed either.

DELICIOUS! That's all I can say. I wish all Pepsi tasted like 1983. The Ginger Cola was good too, although I wouldn't want it all the time.

The taste difference was negligible and the amount I paid, $28.00, even though I went in knowing how much I was going to pay, was just a stupid amount. A week later I find the cans in Frys Grocery for 1.69 each

The taste is very refreshing and good. Not as sweet as regular Pepsi but very satisfying.

Very good taste, too expensive but very good.

Warning the ginger version is loaded with real ginger
