I think I should have left a roughly 1/16" gap between the edge of the door frame and the edge of this weather stripping, but it was easy to install and performs extremely well. Mind you, previously I just had a little gap with three rubber bumpers on my doorway, but the difference this product has made is exceptional. My door is a little bit warped leading into the hallway of my condominium, but this formed a seal just fine. This product also stopped any air infiltration as well as sound. Another reviewer commented that the product is spliced/in two pieces. This is true, but it looks like there is a roughly 4' long strip which is intended to go along the top of your door jamb, then there is a roughly 16' long strip which is intended to be cut to length for each side of your door jamb.Also, the adhesive on this product is a really nice balance between stickiness and ease of removal. I was doing a pretty poor job installing it (crooked), but it peeled off gently without damaging the paint so I could realign it. It has a pretty good stick to it, and it should be fine I think.The product has a slight smell once removed from the packaging, but I don't notice it standing next to the door after I've installed it. It has a high quality rubber feel.

The seal itself and adhesion strip on back are great quality. The seal is exactly as described.

I bought this same weather stripping directly from the company a few months back and that was much thicker than this is. This is considerably thinner, and slightly different shape. Not sure if they are selling a lower grade on Amazon vs what they ship you directly, but it's worth noting this is quite thin.However, it is used on the hinge side of a jamb and the thinner material is actually an advantage here since the gap between the jamb and door is not wide enough to easily accommodate the original stuff.The problem I have is the smell is overpowering. I'd rather huff nerve gas....I hope that eventually this stuff off-gasses and the smell goes away, because it's almost unbearable as it is now.Adhesion of the tape is very good - better than the original stuff I bought.

Arrived in blister pack. Easy to install. Working well. Recommend seller & product. Like the fact that it's rubber and not foam stuff.

The adhesive did not hold on a cleaned surface.

I was a little disapointed of how small it is. It will only fill a gap 1/4" or less. The quality of the silicon rubber does not compare to as good as other silicon weather strips. This cost alot more then other weather strips so I was expecting a quality product. I have not installed it and will probably return it.
