Clippers work.. battery was dead so I have no light which is reason I purchased this product .

Good on quality and functionality for the price. Could only be improved by slightly better exactness on edge for tiny claws on small dogs like mine where nails tend to curl a bit. When they curl inward the quick can extend closer to the inner curl

They work just like the ad says. The dog however seems to think that she should be the one to see them in action. We will either have to teach her to stay out of the way or learn how to see through her head.Seriously, they really work good.

This is a great tool for trimming small to medium sized dogs or cats. The blade is very sharp and the light works great for my dogs white nails. It's SUPER bright! I am very uncomfortable trimming the nails because of the cutting of the quick situation. And I certainly have heard the horror stories of the groomers making their own mistakes! I don't trust them.This tool takes all my fear away, plus, the built in nail guard (that can also be pushed aside if needed), is just added security for those extra-long quicks some breeds have. The file doesn't work so well, however. But it does help a little.

Wouldn't recommend, heavy, BIG and upon opening the light started flickering on and off. Also the blades tend to stick making it difficult to cut. NOT GOOD FOR SMALL DOGS the blades and overall size is huge

I got these for $4.99 and was delighted with them so far - they have the extra benefit of a light so it gives just a little bit more clarity when I cutting the dog's nails.
