Prime-Line A 203 Diecast Screen Door Latch Strike (2 Pack)

I had a retractable screen door with a plastic latch. The plastic latch broke and the manufacture of the door didn't sell the latch by it self. I super glued it back together, did this couple of times. Got fed up and almost replace the whole screen door till i found this piece on Amazon. Its metal, very sturdy, a perfect fit. Now i can close my screen door and not worry about the latch breaking. Thank you for saving me money on a whole new screen door.

When we moved into our house, the sliding screen door had the sliding lock but it appeared that this part had never been installed. For several years we just never bothered, but one of our cats figured out how to open the screen door when we had the glass door open for some fresh air so we decided we needed to address the missing latch. This worked perfectly for our door, but it was the 2nd or 3rd one I'd purchased after getting different options from the hardware store that either didn't fit or had more parts that I didn't need so I ended up returning them. But this was great, it works as designed and no unnecessary parts.

Worked well as a replacement for our broken Malibu screen door strike. Measurements as provided in seller description are accurate. Does not appear as robust in design/build as the OEM part but hey, this was a 2 pack. Mounting hole slots allowed plenty of adjustment for proper strike and latch operation with no additional holes needing to be drilled in the door frame. Overall great value and recommended.

I like this. I had to grind a bit off the door side to get it to work but this is the latch I was looking for. Easy to use a file to take that little bit off. Love it, don't know how I lived without it.

Perfect upgrade from the plastic one provided with sliding screen door.

We had a sliding door installed last year, and they did not install a latch. I should have called them back our, but didn’t want to mess with it… unfortunately, I went to a couple of stores first and bought the wrong thing. I should have just come to Amazon first. This was exactly what I needed and shipping was super quick.

I measured the one I had but was missing 2. The measurements made this purchase perfect and now I can lock all three of my screen doors!

Viceroy Homes is out of business and finding a keeper for one of their doors was not easy. The broken keeper had an offset of 5/8 inch while this keeper is only 1/2 inch. There was enough play in the door latch that the new keeper worked. There is now zero play in the door. This keeper is also slightly beefier which will help in the long run.
