NIrV, Holy Bible, Large Print, Leathersoft, Pink

Nice size print, good paper weight, soft cover, and the translation's readability is on point, being easy to read and understand. I also bought this translation in a different cover for my elderly mom to read alongside her KJV for clarity with difficult passages. This is for young and old alike. Such a great Bible!

Understandable and story like. Easy to read. I would recommend this for any age of a beginner Bible reader.

The media could not be loaded. Simple yet effective large print Bible! The price was right so I bought it!

I LOVE this Bible!!! I grew up in church. I memorized verses in KJV. I got an NIV when I got older. My current Bible before this one that is highlighted and well used is an NKJV. But this NIRV is wonderful! Everything I have read says, “great for kids... great for struggling readers... great for people with English as a second language”. Well, I’d like to say it is great for anyone and everyone who wants to read a Bible that uses simple words that just make sense! I even think it would be great to use for witnessing. It uses words that common every day people use in this current world we live in. For example. Exodus 21:5 NKJV. And the people spoke against God and against Moses: Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water and our soul loathes this worthless bread.”In the NIRV: So they spoke against God and against Moses. They said, “why have you brought us up out of Egypt? Do you want us to die here in the desert? We don’t have any bread! We don’t have any water! And we hate this awful food!”And I love the larger print. The pages aren’t too thin. And the cover is soft and pretty!

Easy to read and a good font size. It is easy for her to understand and learn the lessons that my wife and I learned throughout our individual journeys. Great Bible!

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter seeing that it said large print. The print size is indeed larger, perfect actually, but I didn't pay attention to this being the NIrV version. The wording in this version while it is much easier to understand just doesn't match up with what I'm used to and doesn't help my daughter when she is learning memory verses. I included a close up of the Lord's prayer so you can see the difference. The cover is beautiful! With this being large text it is also a very thick bible (almost double the size of my adult one), I was also a little disappointed the words of Jesus Christ were not in red (my fault for not reading the description closely.)

I love this version! I’ve read KJV, NKJV, NASB, NIV, The Message, Modern English Version (MEV) (which is also very understandable). In the NIrV, I appreciate the short sentence structure and modern language. I also like each book’s intros. I like that there are no additional cross references, notes, etc. I hope everyone gets one no matter what your age, eyesight, or education level. I have a MA in Professional Counseling and highly reccomend this version to those I counsel and teach.

It was a gift so I don’t know anything about it other than it’s a bible. She said she liked it
