Totally functional to an original
I replaced a bad motor on a Tello. It wasn’t too hard, but in the process you have to interrupt the connection of the camera- reattaching it wasn’t successful and the video is poor now. But the motor replacement works just as hoped . Soldering is required in two spots twice- once to remove the old and again to reattach the new wires . It’s doable but quite a job for a toy drone.
