This thing is giving me life right now
Oh man. This thing is great. I got this because I wanted a way to add photos quickly to a travel journal. The fact that the images were on sticker paper already and don't require ink refills made this a good idea for me. I'd already bought an Instax but the print quality was AWFUL so I took it back. This little printer does a much better job. The images come out clean and bright. As I'm not traveling right now, I decided to make a few cute stickers for my nieces. Then I started making some for myself. Now....now I'm finding old 1980s unicorn posters I had as a kid and making stickers out of them. I am so stupidly happy with this. Is my use of it ridiculous? Yes. Do I have regrets? NONE. If you are looking for a quick way to get little photos for scrapbooking or journaling, this is great. If you're a grown @$$ woman who wants to print a buttload of stickers for your own amusement, this is also great. At $.50 per image, it's really affordable too. Go forth and print ALL THE THINGS!!!

1st Impression & Use, perfect for scrapbooking, love the sticker quality
I was looking for a portable mini printer that would fit a scrapbooking activity. I didn’t want anything too expensive or extravagant, and something that would fit majority of my check boxes. It was a choice between cheaper… monochromatic under $75 (but will I be happy later or wish for something better) Versus… Over $100, but no more than $200 with a more than halfway decent color. Then I thought about what am I using it for? I’ve read a ton of reviews and settled on the canon ivy. For what I’ll need it for, it will work. I don’t care about whether it’s true color or gradients or exposure. I’m using it to label my seed collection for future planting. If it looks like what it should, good enough for me! (Some sample photo’s of Amazon seeds posted as example since I did print thm out). It is still better than if I bought a cheaper one that only prints black & white. I would have had regrets after. I’m sure there are other sellers that would have sold the unit together with a hard case for a higher price. I opted to buy one separately where I could get it for a more reasonable price. It keeps the unit secure, but one can also opt not to purchase one as well and keep storing in the original box.Pros:- It was easy to operate- Available Printing app in IOS apps- Plug and play, just turn on bluetooth- No driver installation needed- The app allows for a number of options: (print photo as is, collage-merge a number of photos, borders, etc). However, using collage to save on photo paper, I did notice some photo’s were cut off on the side, but it fit the screen so it will require some adjustments through trial and error to get it right. I had to use my thumb and forefinger to resize each photo in the collage as it looked zoom at the start. It’s nothing against the app, more like user need to understand the app better.- The unit power turns off automatically when not in use. This is good as it keeps the charge from draining out, and if you forget to turn it off. You just simply turn it back on when you are ready to print. The print app will also notify you of this.- I like the concept. It’s like polaroid but not- For scrapbooking, it’s nice that the option for photo paper with a sticky back is available where I don’t have to break out the glue.Cons :- There is only 10 sheets included in the unit so I had to purchase more. The sticker ones are best at scrapbooking so to maximize, I had to combine pics in the collage, and cut them up to maximize on photo paper otherwise there will be a lot of empty white spaces since they are pre-cut, and that would be wasteful. For the price it cost for 10 sheets, it wouldn’t do to waste photo paper.Neutral:I don’t know how long the quality of the colored prints will last, or if they fade overtime. It is too soon to tell. Will update again after I’ve used it for awhile.

Great Printer
Great printer. It was easy to set up - the longest part was downloading the Canon Ivy app. Once you got everything set up - it takes a couple of mins to print a picture. You have the option to add some borders/stickers/decal to the picture before printing. The quality of the picture is really nice - came out clear

Much better than HP Sprocket 2
I got this photo printer after first trying the HP Sprocket 2 and returning it. The colors in the Sprocket were terribly blue, much happier with this one.

Good buy-Must download app to use.
Been looking everywhere from Walmart, to Best Buy for a printer like this since last Christmas and finally decided on this guy right here. You can edit pictures from the app. make them lighter or darker, there's some nice filters, borders and stickers you can add directly on the photo from the app. I ordered the printer and paper combo, definitely worth getting them both at the same time. In the printer paper box there's about 5 packs, each pack comes with 10 photo papers in it i believe. (i could be misremembering though, i dont have it handy to look at) They get used up fast and you want them handy to continue printing if you're doing more than a few at a time. I printed about 15-20 my first use of the printer and it got VERY WARM and it drained the battery. It comes with a charger, takes barely any time at all to charge back up. I saved my photos to the print que, turned the printer off and let it charge back up and cool down before i finished up. I have to figure out before i print if it should be darker or lighter to my preference but its no big deal if they ended up printing a bit darker than expected. My sisters ended up ordering one for herself and some cute clothesline string lights off amazon after i showed her mine. Definitely a good purchase. Could be used for school projects, scrapbooking, personal albums, bedroom decoration.
