CHAMBERLAINLiftmaster 971LM 390Mhz Garage Door Remote

I was really impressed how easy it was to program this replacement garage door remote. I literally had it setup within 30 seconds (outside of actually placing the ladder, climbing it, and resetting the garage door opener). This LiftMaster 971LM garage door remote was for my Chamberlain Security+ garage door opener. The original remote was well over 17 years old. I am so happy with this replacement remote than I am considering getting a second one.Now, only time will tell if it continues to work...Did I mention it even came with a button cell battery already installed?

Works perfect as a replacement for the 971SC remote or 973SC or 973LM. Used for my old Steelcraft 1255SC garage door opener or the 1255LM Liftmaster Opener. Hope that helps :)Just push the learn button on the back of the actually garage door opener. Then push and hold the button on the remote. When the light bulb flashes twice on the garage door opener, the garage door remote is then set.

This unit works much better than the original. The original uses a 3V battery, and despite replacing the 3V battery, the old unit was only work intermittently. This new unit uses a small coin cell, and based on what I've read on the Internet, will hopefully be more reliable. So far so good, and it works every time. No complaints!

Showed up a week prior to scheduled date. Very fast shipper as it shipped the following day that I submitted my order. The garage door took about 10 seconds to program and it works as expected. My garage door is a craftsman with the red/orange button and no troubles with this remote.
