We needed a few markers in our yard and these worked. They held up well even in the rain.

You need to anticipate just dropping the pole into an existing hole if you want to mark locations in dirt. They are too thin and flexible to make there own holes.I used them to mark animal burrow holes in my backyard. They were very useful for pest elimination. Once a hole was found and flagged it was easy to return to it at a later time with the right tools.

The flags were very sturdy, both the wire and the plastic flag. Can be seen well. Highly recommend

Large flag, sturdy steel

This is our second order of these flags. We use them to mark the grave-sites of military veterans in our cemetery. Each Christmas, we honor our veterans by putting a wreath on the grave, in a program called Wreaths Across America. Volunteers carry wreaths to the graves, which is expedited by having the site marked by the orange marker flags. These flags serve us well. The staff is rigid enough to thrust into hard ground and durable enough to reuse several times.

Worked well. Wire was a little shorter than what I was using, but the bigger flag was great.
