Since using this product, I need to add water less often due to evaporation, and it retains the heat much longer than without. My water temp in the cooler mornings is up to 25°F warmer than the outside air after having turned off the pool heater off the prior afternoon. However, it does reflect the sun’s rays off the surface or the pool so you’ll get less heating naturally by the sun and will therefore need to initially use your heater more to get it up to temp. But once it’s at temp, it stays there for a long time. I recommend.

Bought this to try and keep evaporation of our pool down, seemed every few days we were needing to add water. So far so good with this addition. Added 4 oz and within a couple minutes it was mixed in the water and you didn't even notice it. Today marks the 3rd day it has been in and water level has not dropped at all. Time will tell how it works in the heat of the summer but so far very pleased with how it's working.

Not sure if it does anything. Instructions don't meantion anything about the skimmer. However, I'm assuming it forms a micro layer on top of the water, yet if the skimmer is on wouldn't it just take it away?

This liquid aqua blanket was recommended by our pool builder and it retains temp of pool overnight (about 5 degrees temp reduction when water had just been heated during day)Not my first bottle!!! Only used recommended amount or your water will be greasy- not greasy when using right amount- more doesn’t do anything!

Added the correct amount 3 times and never saw any difference in temp or water loss. It sounded too good to be true.

This product works as described. Good pricing easy to measure from container.

I left a one star review after the first week but now after a couple of months, I have noticed the water is warmer but does not do anything for evaporation. I am in CA and have to top off the pool twice a week.
