Yes! The papers are just paper, so you'd have to be more careful with them to preserve, but the sticks are fun to play with on their own as well. We've made play eyeglasses out of them, etc. Very fun!

Q: Is this biodegradable wax and can it be composted?

Wikki Stix are NON-TOXIC, made of food-grade wax, like you'd find in bubble gum and lipstick… along with hand-knitting yarn, like you'd use to knit an afghan. Wax can be composted as well as yarn so I would assume yes as they are both combined together.
