This works great as a replacement! Looks and feels solid once installed. Great price. Installation is tricky, however. Since this was my second time (first drivers side a year ago), it went fairly smooth. I duplicated the first install practices by using vice grips, two of them. This will make more sense once you see that it slides into place. Before the “slide”, but in place, put vice grips (Irwin quick grip or equivalent) on each of the two areas that will eventually slide. Squeeze these tight but not so tight it won’t slide into place with a mallet tapped on top. My method is a one man job. Has worked for me twice. Do NOT recommend taking the red plastic off the adhesive strip (runs entire length and another for width at top) prior to this. Instead, peel just a little piece that sticks out just enough that once in place, you can pull the remaining red strip off. If red plastic quickly breaks off like it did for me, that’s okay. The integrity of this will be fine. The red plastic that runs a couple inches across width I did remove prior to said slide. Hope that makes sense. Be curious what a dealer would charge for what is essentially an easy repair. 🤔 Good luck!

Our 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan lost both these trim pieces off its front doors over the past year. I decided to save some dough and DIY this repair. I ordered this nicely priced set of replacements that arrived in a very timely manner. After watching a couple of videos on YouTube that showed how to install the pieces, I was ready to do the repair. The replacement trim pieces were a bit fiddly to line up, but I got them in place after a few tries. The adhesive feels pretty solid, and I'm confident they'll stay on. Color match was pretty spot-on, and the match was perfect after I shined the trim pieces up with some color restorer. Quite pleased with the product, and myself.

I'm not sure why people are saying this is hard to install. After opening the box I had it installed in less than a minute. It's a great value. I haven't had any issues since installing it about 6 weeks ago.

For what looks like it should be a very simple application it sure was a pain in the A..but it isn't the products fault it is just the way the manufacture (Dodge) designed it!!I looked at a few YouTube videos before starting the job and all of them had the same difficult time lining up the parts that hold the piece snugly in place. They could have been a bit more generous with the adhesive strips. I don't know what OEM parts look like in comparison to these or if the time to install would have been less, but they were significantly more costly. Be prepared to not have fun doing this repair.

This replacement trim is inexpensive and very nice looking. Fits right in where the other one was. I am a satisfied customer.

Almost sent it back. Was hard to put it on but finally got it after 40 mins.
