Veo reseñas que dicen que estos tapones son un timo. Me temo que muchas de estas personas o han comprado mal la talla o no se los saben poner. Recomiendo seguir las indicaciones del fabricante. Para que los tapones funcionen como es debido hay que empujarlos dentro del canal auditivo, profundamente. Son los mejores que he probado. Los resultados son tan buenos que hacen que no merezca la pena pagar 150 euros por unos tapones a medida (también los he tenido y en la comparación los Etymotic no salen tan mal parados). OJO: no son para dormir con ellos. Yo los uso para conciertos (tocando y como público).

Uso i tappi Etymotic da 6 anni ormai, ed è il 4 paio che compro. Per quanto mi riguarda funzionano molto bene, li ho usati in molte situazioni di concerti estremi e lavoro sul palco e anche come musicista in situazioni di volumi molto alti. Abbassano il volume senza tagliare frequenze, quello che senti risulta definito e la riduzione del è sufficiente per le situazioni live. Prodotto ottimo, non mi devono mai mancare in tasca.

They must have lost the supplier for the silicone trapezoid squeeze case. That is the only way I can see the decision to switch to the hard plastic snap case. It pops open at random. The hole for the key chain wore through after only a couple days. Even if that weren't a problem, the hard plastic is just begging to get broken. Not to mention it makes your key chain sound stupid and feel cheap. Don't believe the pictures either. If you find a listing that looks like it has the old case, it probably actually doesn't. It is *essential* to get the case right to ensure that it is painless to always carry on your key chain. If that's not happening, you're going to find yourself in unexpected situations where you need them but don't have them.

I'm on my second pair. The first lasted five years until I lost them. They do exactly what they say, reducing db's, whilst retaining the overall sound balance and quality. I'm a gigging musician, and I use the etymotics for protection on stage.
