I bought this for a family member and it has been very sturdy and has worked well.

It's not too hard to depress the buttons, they protrude sufficiently to ensure that they don't slip, and there is a collar to stabilize the adjustment once it's set.The handle is very large, even for a men's glove size M, but no size option was given at the point of ordering, despite this option in the description. The handle is covered with a fairly firm plastic/rubber, which has some 'give' but does not offer the the comfort of the foam-padded horizontal grips of the alternative T or offset styles. The hook, however, can be more useful. It remains to be seen how it transfers the cold to the user's hand in winter.The tip appears to be a regular size for replacement, with expected wear-and-tear from outdoor walking.The cane is lightweight, and otherwise is as expected. It appears to be pretty decent for the eighteen dollar price. One star deducted for the lack of handle size options..

I had another cane very similar to this that I purchased from Walgreen's almost twenty years back. Many times over the years, I forgot my cane, leaving it on grocery carts, in stores, restaurants and the like but always returning to fetch it back. Finally, I left the old scarred cane, whose handle was coming apart, on a grocery cart at Kroger and decided not to go back and get it.I always liked the curved handle of my old cane, because I could easily hang it from my arm, a seat back, a cart, or elsewhere. I've heard folks say that gooseneck canes are easier on one's arm, but I really like the "hangability factor" of this Carex cane, which I was happy to find here at a good price. The item is solid and seems well constructed and length adjustment was simple with a collar that easily screws tight where the lower and upper parts meet once I had set my preferred length. This Carex cane was exactly what I was looking for, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight but solid quality cane with a curved handle.

Nice sturdy cane with a nice big handle. I'm 6FT tall with longest arms and legs and the cane fits fine adjusted all the way up. I could get by with it adjusted a notch down.
