Samsung Plus 128GB micro SD SDXC Class 10 U3 memory card 100MB/S 4K Ultra HD MB-MC128HA/EU

I am going to started by saying this is a good quality, genuine memory card that works well.I always buy well known brand memory cards from Amazon (dispatched by Amazon) or well know retail outlets, because this is one product that is regularly and so easy to fake. The purchase of a genuine Memory card from Amazon may (or may not) result in paying a little more, but in the long run its worth it for the peace of mind knowing that its not going to result in lost data or video that you may not be able to replace. Buying directly from Amazon (or a trusted store) is the only way to guarantee the product quality. While it is possible to get deals on many things this is one product where its more likely to be money wasted.The only time I didn't follow this rule I ended up with a fake from another well known online market place similar to Amazon (deliberately not named). It looked genuine at first glance, I wasn't until I tried using it and it failing to work that I took a closer look at the Memory Card and Packaging, and noticed that several things were not quite right, such as the country of origin (it no longer exists and hasn't for some time).

Product quality and price Very Good. I recommend the product and the seller.

Bought to add to my phone's internal storage. Does the job perfectly. Read / Write speeds as advertised. Capacity as advertised **.** I have to mention this because a previous review below was written by someone who doesn't know how formatting and manufacturers' stated capacity of storage devices works and makes the product look like it's somehow being falsely advertised vis-a-vis the stated capacity.To quote that review : "" IT'S 9GB SHORT OF THE STATED CAPACITY - Come on, Samsung - you can do better than that. I'm far from a technophobe, etc - not a formatting or compatibility quirk of my setup... so I am genuinely disappointed to find this - ""This person may not be a technophobe but it's obvious that they understand little of the technology they're using.As with every hard drive since time immemorial, companies list unformatted decimal capacity and not the formatted binary : 1000Gb decimal = 1024Gb binary.A very, very quick search on a popular search engine, using the search terms "Why is 128Gb formatted to 119Gb ?" will yield a million explanations as to this apparent "discrepancy".Stated capacity = as advertised.Read / Write speeds = as advertised.Does what it says on the tin = as advertised.Cheap enough for what it's advertised as being and doing.

The other half needed this for their Samsjng A70. It arrived swiftly, fits fine and does everything required of an SD memory card. Great amount of storage and no lag detected whatsoever.Highly recommended. Buy with confidence.I do not receive any payment or free goods for writing these reviews. I am just happy to share my views on my purchases with fellow like minded Amazonians in the hope that you may find it helpful.

Works in my Samsung S6 lite ..... but found I had to use a third party app to format the product. Shame that Samsung and other companies dont do this service as they sell them mainly to customers who use them in mobile phones and tablets. .... or am I the only one with this problem.

Does what it says on the box very good product will buy again if needed
