MizunoWave Momentum womens Indoor Court Shoe

This is a very confortable and yet firm shoe that involves the base of the feet and ankle without strangling any of it.It has a great grip on the court and I feel much safer when playing squash.The asics that I used felt less structured around my feet and I've almost twisted my ankle a couple times with it.

I liked these shoes from the moment I put them on. Your feet (and a bit of the ankle) are cushioned, secure but not restricted. Its like wearing a snug sock! They’re lightweight and kind to wider feet. I’m not sure how well they fare for shock absorption but as a setter I can appreciate that the soles still have traction respond to direction changes even after a year of playing 3-4 times a week (though to be fair we missed out a couple months due to 2020). My previous pair were ASICS netburner, I recently tried them on again and I don’t know how I played in those towards the end (so slippery and unsupportive compared to these). My only dislike is - the white section near the base of the heel has gotten quite dirty and you can’t exactly wipe off the dust because it’s a foamy material. Now its an icky grey colour..

Alan's gf: Shoes look just like the pictures and sizes are true. I do have wider feet so the first few times I wore them they hurt the sides of my feet pretty badly although I'm sure they will stretch out after playing with them for an entire season just like any other court shoe. Grip on the shoes are excellent even when playing on the dusty court. Would recommend trying these out if you're on the fence about it!

My daughter tried these shoes on at the Capitol Hill Classic and fell in love with the fit. They fit perfectly and she can’t wait to compete in them!
