Power Stop KOE1054 Autospecialty Front Replacement Brake Kit-OE Brake Rotors & Ceramic Brake Pads

This was the first time I’ve attempted to change my own brakes. I own a 2000 Toyota Sienna LE, and these worked for me perfectly. Using a couple videos online, I was able to successfully install both these rotors and brakes. I must say though, after reading about other people saying that the clips were a pain to deal with, I decided to just use myold clips.The clips it came with were slightly different than the ones that were on my car already, and they seemed to be a little difficult to install when testing one. Rather than spend more time to figure them out and install them, I opted against it due to time restraints.These brake pads will not need any lubricant to prevent brake squeal; as these pads come with a coating on the back of them already, which prevents the issue.With this kit, you get 2 rotors, 2 sets of brake pads, 2 sets of brake pad caliper clips, and one very small pouch of brake component lubricant.All in all, I was very satisfied with this product. The brakes and rotors seemed like very good quality for the price. After doing research I came to the conclusion that slotted rotors were not much of an advantage - (if any at all) - compared to these ones; I am happy that I didn’t spend the extra money. I do recommend buying additional brake component lubricant; but the included pouch will be plenty of used conservatively.For all those out there contemplating buying these and repairing your own vehicle instead of dishing out the money for a shop to do it: I highly recommend it. It was quite easy.The packaging was great, and kept the items safe in the mail. Shipping was fast, and had no problems.Make sure these brakes are compatible with your vehicle, and do not install them yourself unless you know what you are doing. A trusted certified mechanic is always a good choice if you’re uncertain. Also, follow the instructions on the box on how to properly break them in.That saying; I have never really worked on cars, yet I was able to install these myself; albeit I am mechanically inclined and know how to research.All in all, this product has seemed to be working quite well after 3 weeks, and would recommend it to a friend.

Bought this kit for my 1999 Toyota Sienna. I need brakes all the way around but couldn't afford the complete kit at the time so I got just this front kit. Install was fairly standard. The supplied clips are a bit tricky, but after you stare at them for a couple minutes you can see how they go. They go in specific places and if you get them wrong, the pads won't fit. All in all I'm very pleased with the kit. It includes everything you need for a complete front brake job. Make sure you break these pads and rotors in the way the instructions tell you. It is important. I now have amazing stopping power, even with my rear brakes being worn out. My wobble at freeway speed is gone and braking is quiet, smooth, and controlled. Very pleased.

Very thorough and complete kit for your Toyota. I bought this kit for a 2001 Camry LE with the 15" wheels. The kit consists if a very complete hardware kit, all the clips and sliding hardware for the pads to sit on, the rotors and pads, and high temp grease. The only thing I can say toward Amazons shipping department is to pack the kits better for shipping, my rotors went through the boxes inside the kit and didn't damage anything but were still not packed anywhere near correct.This is a solid kit and very complete for your Toyota and the performance of the brakes are effective and quiet. Would buy again and did for my wife's VW which also performed excellent.

the clips that these came with were impossible to work with. I, nor my much stronger brother who is a brake and tire specialist could actually get the pads into the calipers using the supplied clips, we ended up running the old clips through a parts cleaner and re-using them. Once the curing process was completed for the ceramic pads however, the stopping power was better than I had before. All other parts fit perfectly, the rotors were clean and smooth, and at a lower pricepoint than most other offerings, I will definitely buy this brand again.

The install was easy. The best part they included a grease packet. I actually forgot to get the grease. Highly recommend!

The parts appear to be of good quality for the price. There are no instructions on where or how to install the bag of clips that are included with the brake pads. I ended up using the new pads and the clips from the old pads to complete the installation. I assume the new clips were some engineers brilliant idea to cut down on brake pad noise. If the kit included information on where to install the different clips they would probably do a good job. Either color code the clips and include a drawing of where the different colors go or do something to help the installer know where they go.
