Q: what are the dimensions? need it to fit in my truck.

Dimensions are 2 1/2" wide 2 9/16" high and 7 1/2" deep. The 7 1/2" includes the SO-239 connector on the back. You should be able to tuck it under your seat fine.

To the radio. There could be reasons to connect to your tuner, but usually connect to your radio.
