L5R RPG: Sourcebooks - Shadowlands

First and foremost, this book complements the "Mask of the Oni" adventure.This is considered to be the book of the Crab clan. As expected, it will give you lots of content and material to work on the taint of the Shadowlands, the wall, and all kinds of monstrous creatures. However, don't worry if you like intrigue and social matters! There's plenty of info on a new race, the ratlike Nezumi, so you can bring your social conflicts to their realm, as well as on the courts of the Crab clan. It gives you new NPCs with their corresponding stats (plenty of monsters here!), some maps (though, they come printed within the pages of the book), and lots of lore on the Crab clan, its territories, customs, and families.There's a very interesting section too on patrols and patrolling the Shadowlands. Additionally, it introduces the Falcon clan, with details to create your own character among its ranks. It also gives you new schools for the main or minor clans (Asako Inquisitor School, Kakita Swordsmith School, Kitsu Medic School, Kuni Warden School, Mirumoto Taoist Blade School, Moto Avenger School, Toritaka Phantom Hunter School, and Yogo Preserver School). It gives new advantages and disadvantages (including new Shadowlands taints), new samurai heritages for your characters' background, new gear and items (including siege weapons!), signature scrolls, item patterns, artifacts, blessed treasures, new techniques, and new titles. It also offers new advice for GMs on how to include new dynamics in their games (including blood magic or Maho), new ways to spend opportunity dice, rules for courage, and some new NPC demeanors and templatesAll in all, it's a good sourcebook!

One of the most under rated RPG's out there. I personally think it's better than 5e and many others.
