I bought these for a trip to the Bahamas. So happy I did. Easy to use and look VERY real...so real that my husband picked it up and tried to use it as sunscreen! I put Malibu Rum in mine so all I had to do was buy the pineapple juice! :) FYI... If you plan to fill them with liquid and put in your checked bags, don’t fill them all the way because the cabin pressure can cause them to expand and potentially rupture. I learned this the hard way. I would also suggest putting them in their own ziplock bag in case they do leak.

I purchased these prior to going on a cruise thinking - if it ends up being terrible, at least it wasn't expensive. The size and look of them were much better than I expected. They really do look authentic! The funnel that comes with them is great and easy to use. Just be sure to fill them slowly, I accidentally overfilled the first one (whoops). The instructions weren't super clear on how to apply the seal, but I fitted them into the screw top and then tightened them onto the bottles and it created a very secure seal. I even squeezed the bottles to see if they would leak and it held strong!These made it onboard the cruise, no problem! The bottles do have a strong smell when you open the packaging so I was worried about the possibility of the liquor having an after taste, but it was perfect! I'm really happy with these and I definitely reccomend this product for cruises.

In just a few days this has become one of my favorites purchases of the year. I first tested at home for 24 hours being concerned with weird after tastes, leakage, or stains. It passed all the tests! I sat on it and even froze one and did not have a problem (YMMV). Living close to the beach makes this product a no brainer and I already have friends asking for one. The next test was at brunch. I am not advising you sneak booze into your local restaurant, but in this case, it's a bottom less bloodymary / screwdriver deal included in the price. Unfortunately, I think they merely bless their bloody's by leaving the top off the vodka bottle next to the pitcher. Now I can fortify with my own jalapeno steeped vodka.Last night was a local Christmas Tree lighting and fireworks display and needless to say the police presence was impressive, as are the fines for an open container. Again the flask performed fantastically and I discovered a more traditional function of the product. We met a few friends and decided to share a few shots. Much like the old fashioned goat "bota bag" I still take skiing, it was easy to pass some shots without "lipping". Just tilt your head back and squeeze a stream of good cheer.I need to test some more (a rough job - lol) but I am now thinking these super light weight flasks might even replace the heavier Nalgene bottles or mini's I use to take a little nip on my next backpacking trips.

For extra help with leaks, I reccomend using part of a plastic shopping bag (like the ones from walmart) and stretching it over the opening before placing the "safety seal". This ensures no liquid will escape. Also, the safety seals are reusable, which I didn't realize! No plastic taste was transmitted, and the pouring works well. Might leak after pouring, so be careful and make sure you have a cup or something to transfer to.

Worked well, no one gave them a 2nd look. However I needed to put the seal on every time then it leaked after using the seal 2 times after I had opened it. So I had to position it upside down so it would not leak. I think a little saran wrap would work also if I had brought some along.
